The first time I saw an eReader, I didn't know what an E-Ink screen is. I thought it was some kind've mode that the book stores put them in for display. Now I know what the screen is, and IT IS AWESOME! My dad got a Kindle 3 and when I saw everything about it I knew I had to get one. I am getting a Grey 3G in the mail this week. SOOOOOOO EXCITED!

Here's whats gonna happen if you do one of the 3 options you say

1. Give it to lost and found - Its a pretty good thing to give it to a lost and found corner but..... the owners maybe not gonna find it.

2. Use it myself - No adapter No USB Cable... probably not , you can't charge it

3. Try to find the owner - Its very difficult to find its owner, unless he put some info on his kindle..finding the owner is such a pain in the ass

Hello!! I had the same dilemma, but I settled on the Kindle and I am THRILLED!! I was totally set on the nook until I borrowed my neighbors Kindle...WOW!! I hadnt actually played around with either, but I liked the look and reviews of the nook better. However, I discovered that right off the bat, Amazon has a much larger ebook selection, and two, navigating the Kindle is a breeze, while I had a hard time with the nook at the store. You control the main nook screen with a separate touch pad

The Kindle looks cool, and is pretty reasonably priced in comparison with other readers with similar features.

My biggest problem is that any books bought on the Amazon store for the Kindle, are only readable on the Kindle. So, if a year or two down the road, someone comes out with an amazing reader that blows everything else out of the water, all the books I would have bought from Amazon, are useless and not transferrable.

It's the main reason I'm not considering a Kindle.
