Jhara lived in Peer Makki a place beside Data Darbar Lahore. I have seen him drink one goat Yakhni in one cup of tea.. i have seen goat was hanged over the fire and a cup of tea was put at the ground.. i have seen him drink one goat yakni in one tea cup. he ate so much meat, Butter, Almond, Sardai, etc.....

jhara's younger brother Abid has all of Zubair jhara wrestling video but they did not give due to his own property rights...or jhara's son Chintu can give jhara and their family wrestling videos.... or his jhara's elder brother Sohail still present in Akhara at Mohni road( near peer makki) data darbar he can tell the details and hold all of his family wrestler videos and photos...

He was died at the age of 29 (11 September 1991) as i know him as my neighbor..he was very beautiful young man and a great wrestler....

Jhara also had a heart attack at the age of 40 (or younger).. doesnt say much about his physical fitness.

I remember this fight fairly well, when Jhara beat Inoki with great ease. I even remember seeing Inoki in a motorcade in Lahore, standing in an open suzuki jeep. Later Inoki said that he could not bear Lahore's summer heat, and that Jhara come to Japan to fight.

Jhara was a great legend, but alas he had started abusing his family name by doing Badmashi.

It was the deviation of moral values by the Bholu Bros. which really caused their downfall. They involved themselves in various immoral activities which brought upon them the curse of the nature. However, Bholu was himself a good and simple minded person. His brothers had become devaint in moral values.

My father in law knew Jhara personally. Jhara was a monster. I have so many Stories to sharE regarding the legend of punjab "the GREAT JHAAAARA".

Remarkable. I remember watching this fight on B/W TV, when the VCR hadn't come. I was a kid, and its remarkable how someone recorded direct from a TV screen and has it still saved! Jhara beat the shit out of Inoki.
