@joelg125 No. It looks to be either a Roadworn '50s Strat or a Custom Shop Relic. The American Special has a high gloss finish and '70s style headstock.

@Sancho670 das ist eine alte Matthias Jabs Signature (500 mal in Japan gebaut). Olli & Olli benutzen die schon ewig als Demostrat. Penetrant brummende Singlecoils aber wirklich geiler Sound...

Der kleine Jim bringt alle Sounds die das 100w Teil bringt bei ertäglichen Lautstärkepegel zwar nix für ne Mietwohnung wohl aber für nen proberaum ohne allen die Trommelfelle zu demolieren,Ich spiel meinen uber zwei alte abgeschrägte Marshall Boxen 2x12,150w, 8 Ohm mit 2 greedings von celestion 30watt made inUk. Effekte benutze ich keine und oft denke ich bei dem Sound den der kleine bringt an den grossen Paul Kossoff

These old-school-type Marshalls have so much "mojo" to them, when you use a distortion pedal with it, it integrates so well into the amp's "tubeness" it makes it sound like a natural dirty channel...Even a Metal Zone sounds orgasmic thru one of these, no joke.

Für GnR oder Motörhead ist ein 2203 (JCM800), 2266 (Vintage Modern) oder halt ein AFD100 besser. 2245 ist halt ein Blues-Amp.

Der Amp hat 30 Watt, nicht 45. Er ist auch nicht die ganze Zeit voll aufgerissen. Der 1987 ist z.B. deutlich lauter.

Die Lautstärke hängt aber auch stark von den Speakern ab - "ineffiziente" Speaker wie Greenbacks oder G12H sind deutlich leiser als die üblichen Vintage 30. Setzt das Top mal auf ne 2061CX!! Der transparente, dynamische Sound ist halt nur auf die Art zu erreichen. Ist halt ne spartanische Bluesmaschine ohne Hall und nix für Anfänger. Man liebt ihn richtig oder gar nicht! :o)

He just said, that the JTM here isn't cranked all the time and that the summary volume depends on the speakers,too. Like Greenbacks or G12H30 have less sensibility as Vintage 30 speakers.

He also said, that you can get this dynamic and transparent sound just by crank all the way up.

Bluesmachine, not for beginners.

@RexSimplex Erträglich vielleicht, aber auf dauer (und es wurden schon sooo viel Amps getestet) sicherlich alles andere als gesund. Ausserdem isses die 45 Watt version... Ich kann nur sagen, wenn ich meinen 50 Watt H&K voll aufreiß, blutem mir die Ohren...
