This is a great film - although I'm unsure why you preferred Vangelis(?) to Tangerine Dream on your clip.

It's funny - I was just watching End of Days last night, with Arnie taking out the Devil (Gabriel Byrne) with a doggone rocket launcher!

(A few days ago I was also watching Manhunter, the film Micheal Mann made a few years after The Keep).

I am gonna comment again.... this is very beatifully done JulieRichardson. i am impressed, thank you for letting me experience the movie this way. Love the scene where you match the music to Major Kaempffer ( nazi SS officer ) meeting Molasar and and being killed by him.

I agree, Tangerine Dream has absolutely beatiful music. Its like you are dreaming when you listen to their music. And yes, it's really about time The Keep came out on DVD, that is so B.S. that it isn't out yet. But I finally bought the VHS tape off Amazon for like $30.

Yea, before I bought the tape, the last time I saw it on tv was back in 1994. Thank God you can watch parts of it on here.

Love this video and the song which is from the soundtrack to "Blade Runner" (one of my favorite films of all time). Tangerine Dream is one of the reasons why I love this film. Their music is so atmospheric and the music they did for "Legend" (1985) was absolutely mind-blowing. I'd really appreciate if someone could upload the entire film on youtube, I used to have this film but unfortunetly lost it and the last time I ever saw it was on cable back in 1988.

This film needs a dvd release.

Julie has excellent taste. This has to be one of the most underappreciated movies of all time. It is magical and hypnotic. It is a real shame that I have to live with a 20+ year old VHS copy. Mann and Paramount should just do the world a favor and release it to the public domain. Let someone who cares produce a DVD.

Hi, Ebay usually has several versions of the soundtrack for sale, that's where I got mine from. It's so rare I don't think you can get it any place else.

The Keep soundtrack is a much sought after Tangerine Dream must!! Nothing aginst this song but TD did a hell of a job probably their

best soundtrack piece ahead of their soundtrack for Legend!! I have the latest remastered Tangerine Dream soundtrack and it's totally awesome and makes me even feel totally 80's sci-fi mystified!! The Keep (1983) and Krull (1983) excellent movies and scores!!
