i'd like to see aircraft get bigger than they are and more heavy and use more engines. something the size of a cruise ship that could carry 1000 or more passengers would be idea. the larger we make aircraft the fewer airplanes we would need in the sky. if aircraft held 2000 passengers then that would hold the same amount of passengers as 6 boeing 777s mean fewer flights in the skies. but then again it might not work out very well.
I love the sweet sound of the GE-90's and the anticipation that comes with looking out the window in contemplation as you soar to your next destination.
are any of the pilot camera onboard the 777s panaoramic that they can rotate. That would be handy as they woud allow pilots to visually inspect areas of the aircraft if the instrument or schematics were not working in an emergency. for example broken or loose flap mountings which often don't get seen and most passengers would not report loose flap mounting points that are sometimes seen on extension. I once saw a loose flap on an airbus that looked lose on landing on full extension
@jojojo9991 It really depends on when the pilot just wants to start up the engines there is no protocol saying you have to start up your engines at a certain point, but its common sense to turn on engines before taxing. :P
@charlieiscool1000 loool ! You are funny man! Air France is a very good airline. Its airplanes are recent. They have no particular problems. Look at American Airlines airplanes which are very old and pollute a lot! They nearly look like Tupolev... You just say that because of AF447 accident. You have to know something... It's surely due to Pitots and bad meteo conditions.
@fernousdu972 French are experts in failure. they FAILED in second world war, FAILE in algeria, they FAILED in panama canal construction, they FAILED in indo china, they FAILED with the concorde even crashing it, the ATR-42 from french aerosptiale grounded by the FAA because the FAILED to follow NTSB recomendations, French airbus have crashed several times because FAILURE in design, Sud aviation Caravelle also a FAILURE,your soccer team a FAILURE,your cars a FAILURE.
@matatan69 where are you from ? I can prove you that your country is not better.
Firstly, the concord has been built by France and UK. I am sure that you don't really know why it crashed. Am I Wrong ? What you know about it are THEORIES.
Secondly, the Caravelle was one f the best airplane ever. You have to know that France is the birthplace of aviation. Clement Ader was American ? Mongolfier was English ? Louis Blériot was German ? No. All of them were French. There are many others.
@fernousdu972 the concorde crashed because the french authorities did nothing to erradicate the problem of blown tyres on this plane wich caused five incidents in the first two years of the luxury airliner's commercial life, Including one that damaged an engine, punctured fuel tanks and left a large hole in the top of the wing on june 14 1979, In 1981 the U.S. air safety authority described such incidents as "potentially catastrophic, but France did nothing in order to protect their "Pride".
@fernousdu972 France the birth place of Aviation? Ha,ha,ha. give me a break you moron. nobody remembers who's second, do you remember the second man to climb the everest for instance? Man, your aviation heroes do only appear next to the books of Frankenstein, nobody cares about them. The wrights brothers were the first period. The best of all are the b/w movies showing the french men running like girls in amaze to see the wright flier take off because they never saw something like that before.
@matatan69 What you know about the concode are THEORIES. I saw that you come from Netherland Antilles. Is Fokker better than Airbus ? There are less Fokkers than Airbus in the world while there are more Fokker accidents. Do you know the Tenerife Air Accident ? It has been caused by KLM, YOUR NATIONAL AIRLINE!!!! Wrong ? KLM's pilot never had the clearance for take off.
@matatan69 You are a dutch ? Hahahaha, What did your country did so great ? Unable to fight the german during WWII, selling cheese that taste like plastic or shit, drug traffic,.. you cannot be in position to critize France when your country did not better !
@matatan69 There is not any relation between Everest mount and Aviation. During WWII, your country, Netherlands, was a German territory so you are not in a position to criticize France. You were not able to protect your country. Wrights brothers did not build the first airplane. It's Clément Ader. Ader was French. Wrong ? I hope you will decrease your stupidity...
@fernousdu972 , If you where the first in inventing the plane why do your nationals on the wright brothers footage run like girls to catch a glimpse of the wright flyer taking off? by then you should be acustome to the great Clement flyer wannabe.Wrong?
@fernousdu972 , Wasn't France also a German territory? Germans cut through your defenses like a hot knife cutter. The picture of Adolf Hitler,Albert Speer and Arno Breker with the Eiffel Tower (Or Towel??) on the background says it all about being french. and I mean that you have a big mouth but in reallity you are sissy girls. Your country got liberated thanks to the Americans but paying tribute to your sissy girls traditions you now want to insult american aviation heroes and impose yours.
@matatan69 Please learn your history lessons... Only the northern part of France was German. Do you know Vichy ? Pétain ? So please learn your lessons you make me sad about your intelligence level...
@fernousdu972 So, If I push my penis halfway your ass does that makes you half gay?? Vichy was the hideaway of all the sissy french girls including philippe Petain who was later executed for collaborating with the germans, so my french friend Vichy was no different from Paris. You frenchmen are all cowards. Learn your own history better.
@matatan69 being agressive is your last argument ? What a pitty... I am French and I think I know more about France than you... You've just confirmed what I was telling you : France was not a whole German territory... You've lost our debate guy!
@fernousdu972 , Well that;s your country and that's the way you like humanity to remember your nation. It's not my problem what France pretend to be. But do not try again to sell your country as the trophy of mankind because there are many people like me who know the truth about your past and present.
@matatan69 I didn't pretend that France is the trophy of mankind at all. But people pretending that French are experts in failure, without any reason get on my nerves. I can't bear those kind of stupid and useless comments. You don't know anything about France! You are not French so you are not in a position to tell so. Would you bear that I post comments like "Germans are experts in failure" on your videos ? I hope you will try to be more relevant in the future... Thank you for not replying =)
Because the turbofans are speeding up and thrust is increasing. As for the takeoff being quieter, not sure how to explain that other than the pitch is higher and not as deep and low.
@deviance87 Maybe cause the camera itself can only take an amount of loudness, it will block out if not, it will disorted. So the sound is quieter because maybe of the block
Cool startup! In the future, I will definetly be flying with Air France for my first international flight. Oh and this winter I will be making a video when I am going to Phoenix!
finally i got to c this of a ultra power sub -woofer..the window panes in my house almost crashed!!!! brillant power!!!! :)))
