I know a lot of people said they had a great time, standing for hours in the rain, but at my age, I don't see how that could be fun, even for Petty! I guess they must have been drunk enough not to feel the pain! Anyway, at least I know I'm not alone! :)

Petty's great, Darien Lake blows! What a crappy venue that will gladly take your $35 for lawn seats and then deny you a chance to even bring a chair to sit on!

And their reasoning boggles the mind! They say you can't bring in a chair for safety reasons, but they will gladly RENT THEM TO YOU!
Darien lake is a piece of shit. A tarp over some seats and a lawn area that's basically flat. Shitty video screens, no room at all in the concession areas. It is by far, bar none, the worst shithole to see a show.
