Don't believe the hype. The dictators use any story they can think of to stay in power. To the West they say that the rebels are Al-Qaeda, to the Arabs they say that the rebels are Zionists and spies of the USA. I don't buy it. These people want freedom and dignity. They have been ruled by a dictator for the past 42 years. The looting you see is not happening in people's houses, they only loot Ghaddafi's places and the army barracks.

Do you think the rebels are all part of Al-Qaeda, just because one of the leaders supposedly used to fight with the Taliban against the USSR back in the eighties? Gaddafi has been in power since 1969. That's 42 years. He refused to hold elections. He is a dictator. So i have no sympathy for him. I hope the rebels win.

@Troublesome2008 I didn't claim the rebels were Al-Qaeda. I claimed the current military commander and NTC appointed head of Tripoli was a Mujahideen who fought in Afghanistan with the Taliban, and that he was captured by the CIA handed over to Gaddafi for torture.

I want Gaddafi gone too but I have no illusions about what the rebels want. Seriously learn to read bitch.

Thats how I know that if you are with Gaddafi you're rich, if you are against him you have no job and you are poor. 80% of the salaries in Libya are paid by Gov. jobs. If you don't work for gaddafi you have no money. Gaddafi brought in Migrant workers because he doesn't care about his own people. Thats why the people tried a coup in the early 70s and the protests in 1976 and 2006 its not new every1 hates Gaddafi.

Secondly, my family in Libya are not liers. They risked their lives to have a voice in Tripoli on Feb 25th when Gaddafi killed nearly 1000 people in the green square in one night. 50,000 people have gone missing in Libya. There are videos of this, I don't listen to western media nor gaddafi as you do I listen to Libyan people.

The Al Kadesiah is much more closely related to the SVD than a PSL as it uses a short-stroke action just like the SVD does. The PSL uses a long-stroke action like the AK-47.
