@ n73gamer : Nokia did NOT invent multitasking on smart phones. Symbian OS had this feature, Nokia later bought Symbian and destroyed it. Also, Nokia did not come up with first touch screen smartphones.. until S60 5th Edition, Nokia did not have any touchscreen phone and when they launched touch screen mobile-phones, they were pathetic. Olympus and Sharp (Japan) made first camera phone and not Nokia.

Yes, this is an android copy. But I think everyone will like it to be just like that. Android is the standard smartphone OS so everyone will copy from it. The same happen with IO's 5; it also copy Android notification bars and other features. But I will remain with Android anyway.

@evermalpica : When Android phone/tablet pc makers copying everything (including packaging from iPhone) from others, no point in calling them 'standard smartphone OS'. McAfee just released statement that Android phones having most malware attacks.. the fact is, Android can't defend malware even if it tries as its security is so poor. Also remember, Android is not a real time operating system like Symbian OS.

The announcement 6 month ago by Elop really turned me and Im sure a lot others away from Nokia. Yet I do like this announcement a lot. I own a handful of Nokia Phones including, n900, N8, c6, n95 and a lot more and this update, for the more recent phones i purchased, will have my phones comparable to a lot of the phones out there. I guess this is something to that makes me at least hold on to my Nokia Devices. But i will always be pissedoff cuz what nokia did to the n900 and future meego phones

@wynos0 That Jobs is one of - if not the - best presenter out there is well known. And that Apple is great in selling everything like they would have invited the wheel and the sliced bread together and at the same time saved the world by doing so is well known too.

Nokia always was a bit Finnish-cool-understated and in many parts of the world they are liked for that.
