i loved 2nd Chapter of Acts and most of their recordings from the 1980's! The 2 sisters had this etherial sound and I just loved,loved, their brother Matthew Ward's voice. (being african american-something in Matt W.'s voice sounded like the african american gospel singers that i knew.) regardless..great song & sound!

This Hymns album is one of my favorites along with this song "Be Still My Soul", got me through the high school years!

I pray that you will. without Christ you will be lost for eternity.The same God you loved as a child is waiting for you to put your faith and trust in Him...but He won't wait forever.I would love to talk to you more about the topic of salvation and how you can live a life that brings glory to God.

I'm not sure of your age, but I grew up in an absolutely profligate era of easy, no-obedience, repentanceless grace, lacking power and the Spirit of God. We are now reaping the rotten fruit of that seed, which is rampant unbelief. But I have good reason to believe that this era will be followed by a new move of God that will be too powerful to deny. Get ready, and I hope and pray you are restored to faith in the Living God.

@GodHatesFAQS Jesus loves you just as you are. There is very little written on sexual orientation in the Bible. hatred of people to me is disgusting to Jesus. I am straight. There is only one unforgivable sin and I think that s not believing in Christ, and His finished work on the cross.. You loved God as a child. i am sorry you have been so badly hurt. May jesus show His love for you in such a mighty way that You KNOW He loves you.

If you don't know that you are sick,how will you get well? We sin by choice as it states in the James1:13-15;however, the power of sin can be broken over our lives through salvation in Christ alone.Romans10:9-10 read it

@slipmats I a familiar with the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. I am a mother, of two grown sons, both are straight but I would love them unconditonally if they were not. Everything you said is true. If bitterness keeps this young man away from accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, I wanted him to know he can come to Jesus, confess he is as we all are sinners, ask for forgiveness and Invite Jesus to be Lord and Savior of his life.That is my prayer. I can't believe there aren't more hits on this. A lost work of art - beautifully sung by 2nd chapter of acts. I have always admired this group and it was one of the first christian bands i heard when i became a christian.

Last week, I bought Annie Herring's CD Glimpses at a used bookstore for $2.95. This is the CD I've wanted for ages! And I wasn't even looking for it that day. It was just SITTING there on the rack, waiting for me to pick it up. This was God! "Glory, Glory, Glory" . . . "My Redeemer" . . . "Apple of His Eye" . . . "You Came Shining." Thank you, Jesus, for the Wards! They're gifted singers and songwriters!
