Before Mouth & McNeal became a folk music group in the Netherland, Willem Duyn had been very active in 1962. At that time, he was touring with a group known as the "Holland Quintett" or so on. Later on, after both had split, Willem paved his solo career as a vocal Dutch comedian.

Nach der Trennung von Muth & MacNeal gründete er mit seiner Ehefrau das Duo Big Mouth & Little Eve, konnte damit aber nicht an die internationalen Erfolge anknüpfen. In den Niederlanden hatten sie mit 'Uncle' noch einen Chart-Erfolg.
