i love everything the chilis have ever done, i just love their sound, i love the fact that it advances and evolves in different directions with each album. i understand that many people out there dont enjoy there newer stuff, but when i listen to say 'especially in michigan' i hear a completly different band to when i listen to 'police helicopter' they've grown up since then. but they always have been amazing and in my eyes always will. saying that i hope the new albums funk driven though!!!!!!

@JHendrixxxxx I'm not with you, but it's just my opinion. Mother's milk and BSSM were the highest the Peppers would ever reach... I am a big fan, have all original CDs and stuff and simply like the old days better than the new ones... but I like there are some people who like the new Peppers, it's great they keep doing people have fun after all these years ;)

For me they were not bad albums, but nothing outstanding. Another band could come a make another By the way in my opinion, but not in a million years would come another BSSM, it's just all the things around that album, the recording house they used, the feeling in the album...

@PacoPateros I see where you are coming from, But In my opinion every album they have made has been unique; each has had a new style that no band has ever (or I dare say will ever) replicate. The Chili peppers have a sound and style that is hard to copy. Even Stadium Arcadium (which is probably my least favourite Chili album, although it does have some good songs like Snow) was a world away from the last album they made. I will be interested to see how their new album will turn out without John.
