Our ships capture pirates and sink their ships. And we are the best at it. Absalon captured up to 80 pirates on a season. And sunk multiple pirate vessels

And our army are in Afghanistan and we got UN troops in Kosovo and Lebanon.

Some even say that the Danes are the best in Afghanistan

Where Taliban is spotted, bullets are fired.

And usualy it is not Taliban who walks away

Pirates are usualy captured and their vessels are sunk - sometimes they gotta shoot at the pirates while they still are in the boat. But thanks to very good training they dont hit the pirates. We want them alive.

Our Absalon class are probaly the best ship you can get to catch pirates. Thanks to its "huge" flexibility. Danish build ships <3

Plus they use the LSV now as for main support weapon in the groups and the lmg is on its way out. The LSV isnt good at anything but precision it has a way to low caliber to make a good support weapon.

Also our primary Anti-Armour rocket launcher is the Swedish produced Carl Gustav - and swedish produced AT4's! Our assault weapons (M95 and M96) are canadian produced and so on - so I don't see where your "why you take US technology and weps?" comes from!

And no, you cant destroy a M1A1 Abram with an RPG7 - Ive heard several episodes from the Iraqi war about American tanks getting hit by RPGs and they just bounced off - but the Danish army use German produced Leopard 2 tanks with Danish modifications.

And we use Canadian weapons and Swedish AT weapons.

If you think the AK47 is better your very wrong, very good weapons if you live in remote areas but you cant hit an elephant on 3 meters range

I have heard several episodes about people firing RPGs on Abrams doing the Iraq war and all of them bounced off - I dont know much about tanks but I know that neither the Leopard or Abram "sux" as you call it...

@ruben3198 And second the Russian AK47 is a good weapon yes because of its reability - but since it has such a large caliber its more of a machine gun than a assasult rifle - it does a lot of damage to both people and because of the large caliber but it makes it unarcuate - our weapons (we use Colt Canada If I remember right) it allows a lot of modifications on it and uses a less caliber making it more arcuate.

@ruben3198 Modern armies still want a decent mix of arcuarcy and firepower - thats where the 5.56 NATO comes in - it got decent firepower and your able to hit something at a fair range.

The AK47 cant take out a target with body armor either - Heard an episode about one of our Jaegers (special forces) got hit in chest with body armor - he was able to continue his operation a few mins later.

The American used the M14 with 7.62 ammo - the rifle had huge firepower but the soldiers couldnt carry that much ammo and it was impossible to handle since it was full automatic.

Then America made the M16 series using the 5.56 - with a smaller caliber, soldiers could carry a lot more rounds and had a good mix of firepower, acuracy and handling

I love the Danish camo and the swedish as i'am swede.. Both the camo's are great but i think that the M90 camo will beat the m83"?" camo in any way. As i saw in some pictures here, the m83 camo didnt blend in anywhere?. The m90 camo will blend in almost anywhere in sweden, and the m83 almost anywhere in denmark :).

Spliner camo will work better at long distance and pretty well at short. It's realy hard to compare them as they are two diffrent patterns..

First of all, lets talk about the Marpat and Cadpat. Very small patterns and cuz of that , they both are made for the active War. Cuz of the small patternes they will blend in much better at distances like 10-40m+ cuz they are most having close combats down there.

2. The swedish camo is just a random camo that will boost the moral of our troops. And it is MUCH more effectivness at 75-100M! it will be unseen!

However errors do happen from time to time, and some people are for some reason permitted into the army without being danish citizens, but as I mentioned, these people cannot be sent on international missions before attaining danish citizenship!
