Its rediculous that we don't have any tv programs with sign language. kids love learning sign, so why not have an educational program on in the morning for them, and there should be a deaf channel too I wreckon.
Hello, NZSL TV, where?? None, agree you, must NZSL on TV. Example, Christchurch earthquake, interpreter mayor speech, great lots information for deaf community. But, money cost big expensive make NZSL TV. Pay for, who?
@021723 I think if the government pay for tv in Maori and other languages, they should pay for it in NZSL as well. Especially for things like the news
i have no idea what you said mostly, but i agree with the sentiment- i think being one of NZs official languages there should be more of it integrated around the place (a bit like Te Reo- the other official NZ language). i'd like to learn sign language, i just don't know where i'd use it? but keep up the good work and putting SL out there! =)
@dsteplab Agh I spent ages typing up annotations so hearing people could understand but for some reason they haven't saved -.- haha. I started learning Sign when I was working at a cinema so I could communicate with Deaf patrons, now I want to be an interpreter. You can use Sign all over the place, night clubs, noisy rugby games, underwater! They've actually shown that babies pick up Sign before spoken language and they can develop language skills early using Sign

You left yourself signed in on my computer. Georgia says: 'I agree with you!!! Argh. It annoys me.'
