  • I support voluntary prostitution 100%. There is nothing wrong with it. Legalize it already its a waist of time, and money to fight it. There needs to be organizations to help balance out the negative side effects of it, such as abuse to prostitutes, and STIs. Making prostitution a crime, adds unnecessary taxes, and it takes away from police time, to restore order, just as the"War on Terrorism," or "War on Drugs" does.

  • I don't get it: If prostitution is illegal, why do they need PFZ?

  • Plain and simple this is class warfare.

  • @TheCanadianDude Indeed. And the real cockroaches are NIMBYs.

    Laurel

  • This is an official recognition of a policy that has existed as long as I remember. Certainly as far back as the 70's. During the 80's if you were a woman in a questionable neighborhood dressed nicely waiting at a bus stop you risked being questioned and possibly arrested for prostitution.

  • Good thing that there is no such thing as freedom of association or anything, otherwise this sort of assumed guilt profiling might be seen as a bad thing....

  • @Stigmatibus Sex is only an expression of something if we choose for it to be so....people have very enjoyable sex all the time for free that has nothing to do with "love", so can it Stigmafart, and leave your assumptions up your asshole.

  • only thing i can say to the guy who thinks that more laws will get rid of something, The Prohibition Era, last i checked bootlegging beer became more profitable for the gangs and a hell of a lot more violent for everyone

  • Great. legitimizing profiling...

  • This prostitution-free zone is counter-productive. Let me use the example of panhandling: the county that I live in made panhandling illegal. What do you think happened? They simply moved to an adjacent county; one that happened to provide more services for homeless people anyway. Regarding the litter and undewear that was strewn about: if that was really going on, what difference does it make if there was a financial transaction involved? Litter is litter. *shakes head*

  • @rachel63139 I beg to differ on your assertion that "litter is litter". There IS a difference between empty soda cans, old newspapers or candy wrappers and used condoms, soiled underwear or syringes. Some litter is potentially dangerous or infectious.

A financial transaction doesn't make the difference in litter. Bodily fluids and excretions do.

  • If I had not heard about the "industrial prison complex" from other sources that line at the end would have had me going "what?" Is the industrial prison complex considered common knowledge now?

  • I am not a Christian so I will just come out and say it. You're nothing but a whore. A loser whore who doesn't want to try to better yourself. If you did, you wouldn't be a whore. Whore lovers. lol Fuck you bitches. I wouldn't stick my dick in your nasty ass if YOU PAYED ME! You're a lame cunt that fights for whores. If you turn MY daughter into a whore, I'll sue your cunt ass. Fuck you you nasty bitch! I hope you get Aids and rot!

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush

I will just come out and say it. You're nothing but a comment on a youtube video. You have no life, no feelings, no brains or even a reason to exist.

Why don't you try to better yourself.

  • Curse me for not reading descriptions! Thankfully, your blocking Stiggy caused him to made a video and I noticed the petition there. Signing! ^_^

  • @EuphoricImpact Where did your comment go?

  • @EuphoricImpact U should take a look at that report in the low bar. I think on page one (not the pdf pg 1) it says 1 in 5 sex workers were asked for sex by COPS.

  • @Stigmatibus

I don't under stand your answer.

And I'm not, as far as I'm aware, trying to create a false dichotomy. From what you've said, you think sex should only be "an expression of love and attraction along with the use of procreation". Should any sex that is not like this be illegal? Clearly sex that is not like that does occur. Are all three required for sex to be 'OK' in your eyes? Is only having sex for two of those reasons ok? what about only one of those reasons?

  • @Stigmatibus STIGMADEIN! WTF are you doing on my channel. You know God damn'd good and well you are not welcome here. You know GOD DAMN'D good and well WHY! You fucking Christians and your lack of respect for others! U R blocked...AGAIN! If you make another account DON'T COME ON MY CHANNEL AGAIN!

  • @Divinity33372

Sorry Divinity, I didn't know he was a trouble maker on your channel. You want I should go take off my shirt, put on my bowtie and start white knighting for you? :D

I hope I can do that on BlogTv again one day.

Again, Apologies for messing up your comments section.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk No worries hun.

  • @Stigmatibus

I am a woodworker by hobby. I have made carvings and wood tools as an expression of love and attraction. I have also made carvings for sale.

Sex is not always an expression of love, or attraction. Sex can be, but it's not always. One need only look at the many loveless marriages that exist.

So, here's my question again. Do you think that Sex between consenting free adults should be illegal?

And how is putting a price on sex saying one sex is better than another?

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk Meals are only "legitimate" when they are home-cooked, but not when we buy them in a restaurant, because a meal should be cooked with love not for money. Discuss. ^_^

  • @BobChaos23 depends on what angle you are coming from. from my experience as a volunteer with food not bombs (an organization that prepares and serves food to mainly the homeless, but others are free to take as well), i tend to believe that it is unethical to charge people money for food, especially when you consider the fact that many people are not capable of fending for themselves. but on the other hand, given our current circumstances, people need to make money to survive.

  • @Stigmatibus

Do you think consensual sex between free adults should be made illegal?

Do you think I should be able to hire out my body for labour? For example, digging ditches, or working in a slaughter house, or felling trees?

I'm sure you've heard these arguments before. And I'm not the most adept person to be making them, this isn't an issue I have a great breadth of knowledge, no personal experiance and the only sex workers I know are on youtube.

    cont...

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk

...But even if you think prostitution should remain criminalised, should local government and police be able to wield powers in such an arbitrary and discriminatory fashion? Particularly over public spaces. If there is a problem with street prostitution, is hassling the street people a viable solution or does it merely shift the problem elsewhere?

  • If they really wanted to get prostitution off the streets they would make it legal. I'm pretty sure nobody would choose to walk the streets rather than a safe, clean indoor workplace. The only reason they do it that way is because it is illegal. Out on the street they have plausible deniability (as long as they are not caught exchanging money). The moral argument is outdated and stupid, thats why they pass bullshit laws which only create a new problem, ie more people in the legal system.

  • @Stigmatibus

Totalitarians, communism isn't the way government necessarily trends to. Totalitarianism, the end result of state enforced communism, is the end result of any sort of society, capitalist, socialist, fascist, giving greater and greater power to the state.

Stamping out prostitution. They don't care about the people, they just want it out of sight. Out of sight, out of Mind.

  • Doiy, spelling mistake. XP

    I meant **Discriminatory behaviour.

  • This is bullshit!

@5:30 - "We're sort of at a loss, for what we're supposed to do."

How's about, you give them a place to be, that isn't the streets? Maybe a place they could go to work. Or, how's about, you let them legally work from home?

Discriminator behaviour, no matter how harsh it is, isn't working. So, how's about, you try the other direction.

It's like "Oh noes, this person has condoms, so they could practice safe-sex... They must be a sex-worker!" First, no. Second, SO WHAT?!

  • So where's the breathing free zone? Fuck.

  • Occupy PFZs?

  • If prostitution was legal they would not being doing this at all. Nice waste of tax payer dollars.

  • Nice documentary Divinity.
