I think this scientist would be more than interested to see my first uploaded video "Witness a miracle.". I swear the footage is absolutely genuine. It is best seen full screen and the key moment to pay attention would be as soon as the film comes into focus. I have personal evidence which may support his theories. If it hadn't had this first had evidence I may doubt it my self, but I swear on all that is good and innocent in this world that it is true. This is only one small example of many.
Gaah! The video clip ended before he came to the interesting stuff. I _assume_ he goes on mentioning actual numbers, such as how they measured a hit vs a miss, and how it differed from the dog randomly guessing that the owner would get home, whether some other researchers have been abl to repeat it, etc. This video was a disapointment for me; I've read comments by other people (on forums etc) that Sheldrake is worth checking out, so I was hoping for something concrete, not just talk like this.
@HurricaneHeidi - That was my point. the current application of "Rational thinking" is an asolute farce on these matters. He's using their own methods to give them a slap in the face as to say "Wake up, all this evidence can't be coincidence."
I am skeptical by general inclination, but open minded enough to have attended lectures by Dr. Sheldrake at Hollyhock on Cortes Island BC. I have been very impressed with his lectures and dedication to verifiable discovery using the scientific method. The data backing up his body of work presents quite an obstacle to casual critics and serious opponents alike. Time will tell if this modest man is perhaps our era's Darwin with an unpopular challenge to science orthodoxy. (Mark-in-Seattle)
I absolutely love this man. Finaly a man that is basicly spitting in the face of "rational thinking" and putting scientific method where it's mouth is.
@Bagenholt - I am personally convinced that Rupert Sheldrake exemplifies an APEX of rational thinking.
He has inspired me to take on some of the arrogant proponents of materialism and material reductionism.
I used to identify with atheism... but I've suffered horrible ad hominem abuse from atheists and scientists who consider any belief in and/or evidence for "extended mind" to qualify as their form of "heresy".
I am so grateful to have stumbled upon Rupert Sheldrake here on youtube.
