I like the song very much. She sings beautiful Does anyone have the lyrics. Would be very gratefull. It is english with the words of the ancient region, is n't it?
@brijmohun This does not mean to get married here, that tradition doesn't exist in Scotland. They are going to the heath or moor. Broom is a small spikey bush that grows there. They used to make sweeping brushes out of the branches, hence the name.
@cocochanelleke I got this song off a Scottish folk song website many years ago and have lost the original mp3. All I can recall about the singer is She was a teenage amateur.
this is a tale about the tragedy of two sisters, who because of jealousy, killed the other. The ballad is a song sung by a minstrel to the king as was told by the dead sister. But to their surprise, it wasnt the minstrel who sings, but the instrument made out of the girl's golden hair and bones. Such tragedy...
This sounds like a more recent adaptation of the ballad. I'm not sure this particular variation in lyrics is described in Childs text.

Beautiful! Who is the singer? She reminds me of Niamh Parsons, but a bit higher pitched.
