How would you rate this as far as difficulty on the bass? My boy (9) plays drums but my girl (15) has shown an interest in the bass guitar so we bought her one for christmas. What do you think about just learning the first repeating line minus the slides?

1 to 10 this is a 3!!! Very easy line!!! With the bass guitar most guys can make an modest living by just repeating a phrase for the whole song!!!!(staying in the pocket). Practice coordinating the 4 fingers on the left hand with the 2 fingers and the thumb on the right, building up strength helps a lot!!!! Before you know it you'll be doing it!!!
