Nice video man. The G2L's 80 lumens are more for a backup light around the house with that great run-time. But for search and rescue, you should't be messing around with either of those configs. I have an old incan version of the G2 and I bought the Cree XP-G R5 LED Drop-In Module for less than $12 shipped from DealExtreme and now this thing is both a flood light AND a throw light! Looks like daylight at 100 yards and run-time is ~2 hours @ ~320 Lumens using two 3.7V RCR123a's. Check it out man.
@workingforgear You'd better get a three mode XM-L T6 drop in from Manafont (the one without strobe or SOS), it is waaaaay better than any XP-G R5. I have eight drop ins and that is the best.
the g2 is my favourite surefire and this colour is also my favourite one :P

@newhuskytwenty an xm-l in a polymer light? i presume you mean a lower than the popular output levels emitter for better runtime and flood.

If I had to only use one it would have to be the G2LED. You can't beat the run time.
