My apologies for making it sound as though love and a better life are desirable. Could you please clear up my confusion by telling me what might be better than that?
I've been incredibly happy and at peace for all the years since I first grasped the message in the Urantia Book--but if there is a way to be even happier, I would love to know your secret!? Please share!
You sure reason like a religious person, thats for sure. So you desided to just feel really good about yourself? Whats the progress in that? Understanding this world leads to pain, and its something i endure. I teach about how things we really can do anything about works and im not on some kind of quest to make people feel good despite their lifestyle. The last thing you need if you're going to change is a fantasy to escape to.
My happiness is not about myself. Its about knowing there is a reason for our being here, and living a life which transcends self, a life of devotion to the highest good for all, service to others. Devotion to truth, beauty and goodness. To discovering meanings and values. No fantasy here! I'm sorry that you must endure pain; why do you blame understanding for your pain? Agree, books don't make people happy. People make themselves happy. What do you teach in particular?
Im trying to make as many people as i can understand the system and what is really going on, the danger in believe in things that is not fact or theory. Anything trying to convince others there is an omnipotent god is a religion and does not care about theory or facts that can be proven. And people should stick to what they can know, not what they can make up in their own heads. We must have a reality that can be shared. End of story. I will not respond to any more comments.
Im also happy, within reason, do i think i need a book how to tell me to be happy? No. If you cant figure it out for yourself your probably not ready to feel at peace yet though you still have som progress remaining.
Absolutely! The Urantia Book is superb and incomparable. It will change this world from a planet of fear to a planet of love, truth, beauty and goodness!
I'd say another 100-150 years. Information is going around very fast. But the most important are consumers of this information. I wish it would be more and more of them.
I have read the book and it the best book ever written. I am a student of the book and find it to be true. To bad we had are a decimal planet, suffered through the Lucifer rebellion, plus Adam and Eve had their mishap. Otherwise we as a species would be closer to living on a world of light and life. The papers about Jesus life is great and gives us all hope. Every one should read the Urantia, but time is always the challege.
