Ceriatone TMB 18 watt EF86 combo - Les Paul VOS - Clapton

I tried the kit version of this, but I made a somewhat primitive attempt at combining the two channels on one input (input jack-12ax7-tmb-ef96-12ax7-12ax­7-power amp) and I did something terribly wrong. I couldn't get a sound out of it, so I desoldered all the parts and traded it for a hammond AO-35. Would have been nice to have that TMB on the EF86 channel though.

@punkeratheart you can easily use both channel using a A/B switch pedal

@littlemachinewing Right, but I mean I tried to have the first two stages of one channel going into the EF86, then the EF86 cascaded in to the other two 12AX7s. Not like using both channels, like wiring them both in to one channel. That way the EF86 would be pushed by 2 stages of a 12AX7, then EQ'ed, then go in to the 2nd and 3rd 12AX7 in only one signal path, fro one input. It would have been way more gain on tap IF it had worked.

hey how loud is this amp?

It's very very loud! It's not easy obtain good tone at bedroom volume, also using an attenuator. But if you can raise volume this amp has the best classic rock tone I ever heard.

Hi! I bought the amp used, but I know that tha cabinet is made in Italy by "Archimede diffusori".

Anyway I can say you that this amp is fantastic, it has the sound of the vintage Marshall amp
