  • why don't we all just pretend aji8 is not there? afterall, 1 guy... creating a lot of heat and u all letting him get to ya, theres always gonna be haters drankin that haterade

  • how come ls1 swaps are so common :S

  • @mageac LS1s are relatively somewhat light, beefy aftermarket suppliers, realible, and responds nicely to changes.

(inb4 rotary Wankel idiots bashing on to me,no I don't think it's better than the Wankel or vice versa)

  • I bet aji8 has a rotary engine car in his garage that drives him

  • I just realized the last comment was 3 months ago. Fail on my part.

  • @ aji8, you speaking annoys me. Piston or rotary, doesn't matter. I have an RX8 and a Porsche 944 turbo. Granted the 944T wasn't a very reliable car anyway, I have had WAY more problems out of it than the 13b in the RX8, which has had not one. Having said that, I race Mazda Miatas, and the inline 4 in those lasts forever. My current motor, which has seen nothing but track time since it's build in 2005, has not broken. Once. Each motor has it's flaws. And as everyone else has said, it's probably

  • rotaries dont just break, idiot owners, and bad tuning breaks rotaries. a stock rotary will last forever with the right maintenance and normal driving.

  • I think we need a big antivir for aji8..

  • Holy shit that's ferocious!

  • to crisp for me lol

  • It's really interesting how these things work compared to like a 4 stroke or something like that, the engineering is quite wierd, but I heard they're pretty good and reliable engines, some even said theyre pretty fuel efficient, that true?

  • @CrisDriftin I don't want to sound like a nit-picker, but the rotary is a four stroke engine. They don't really get great mileage because supposedly they're not as efficient on gas and oil especially. But they sure are cool huh? I'm actually going to have my 03 GTI VR6 paid off in 8 months and am looking to sell it for 11k or so to get me something rear wheel drive to work on and race. I'm thinking about a 2nd gen or maybe just getting a 3rd gen. Even a 280z w/ engine swap or 240sx w/ swap

  • @CrisDriftin noooo.... very not fuel efficient haha.... its a pure race engine

  • so roughly 444bhp then?

  • Join the "I hate ajia8 and want to kill him" club only £5.00 per year...... well worth it

  • @ajia8, I hope you die motherfucker!

  • i would love to put one of these on a gokart and turbocharge it! watch out busa-kart!

  • @aji8 get a LIFE!!!

  • i love the cars and the engines but i would never buy one because i see so many rx7's with blown engines.

  • this actually one of the greatest engines built as my opinion certainly gets my prefer instead of a v8

  • @ghoulunaticzdylan rotary in GENERAL is One of the best engine ever made. potential

  • rotory goes POP! lol

  • has any of those things ever broke and car go flying?

  • I've never seen any. But I have seen cars fall and almost fall off because the rear starts to slide sideways on the dyno from engine torque.

  • ive owned both piston and rotor all i got to say is there is no greater pleasure than driving a rotor

  • aji8 if you dislike rotaries so much then why do you keep looking at rotary vids??? not bashing or anything but we all have fun looking at and hearing these engines so stop posting ignorant comments and live and let live

  • He thinks that with all his Rotary hate that he's going to convert everyone on Youtube that Rotaries are the worst engine ever made and that Mazda are going to stop making rotary engines because he doesn't like them.

He needs to get a life. If a person hated something so much, then why would that person constantly go back to what he hates?

@aji8; if you hate rotaries so much, stop watching the videos. You have to be the biggest moron I've seen in awhile. You hate em, but watch em. Idiot.

  • @LVGshultz

I don't need to convert anyone. Just point out how stupid and useless you rotards are.

  • @LVGshultz

Actually I don't want any of you to convert. If you did I wouldn't have anyone to laugh at.

  • what i find so funny is, aji8 used to argue with me about this stuff and never could come up with facts other than cases in which the engine was not properly maintained and fail due to abuse. I just ignore aji8 now cause of the crap he/she spits out and is all opinion based. The rotary has the best racing record (including longevity) of any car and still aji8 doesnt get this. I have a rotary and a piston. Like both but aji8 is just a moron.

  • @cliffkemp I had plenty of facts. You on the other had had none and still have to show evidence for the one point on the rotary in aircraft which you still have not done. You are the one with the opinion and no proof, not me. I gave you all the evidence to support my claims. Yes it was my opinion on the looks of the Rx8 but even Clarkson had issues with the looks. All of my other statements offered proof which you have NEVER done.

  • I see aji8 is up to his/her usual crap. stating crap as usual. The car above sounded very nice.

  • To aji8,

yo asshole go get a dick.

  • rotary = amazing! AJI8 you create 300+hp from a 1.3l piston engine on pump gas. you can keep your valves, cams, and pistons. my choice is a rotary. and chill out man. so what if its a different design of and engine. it still has all the same 4 strokes of a piston engine. it just doesnt have a stoping motion which is a waste of energy.

  • My best friend recently bought a 1986 RX-7 non-turbo from the original owner with 360,000 miles on the odometer. That is by far the nicest car i've ever seen and driven with that many miles. The original engine lasted 289,000 miles before being replaced with a different rebuilt unit which is running great now. He even raced the car (mostly autocross), but he took very good care of it. I have an 85' RX-7 12a nearing 200k runs good. and a BLOWN turbo2 at 126,000, due to not changing coolant.

  • Aji8 : I had a RX7 FC some time ago, with 180k miles on it, stock and orginal engine, and was still going very strong.

Its mostly about maintaining the rotary engine, you can rev it, put the pedal to the metal when its properly warmed up. The 100k limit on a rotary is a myth.

Alright: one can trash a rotary engine with 100k, even within 20k if one wants to, but same goes for piston engines.

Its mostly the drivers who wrecks engines/cars if s/he doesn't know what s/he is doing.

  • aji8 posts on every possible rotary powered video, and just tries to bash them, its either that he is a young mis-informed kid, or... that hes older, and just keeps getting beat by rotary motors so he takes his frustration out on youtube

  • go to re:scoot rx7 and learn the truth about aji8, this certified trolling bitch, his trolling days r about to be over.

  • whats re:scoot rx7?

  • never mind found it .. hes such a loser

  • @MrNjracer he's from 4chan, i can tell by the rotard comment, he's probably a kid :(

  • @MrNjracer

I think he's going by a different username nowadays. There's someone going around calling people rotards and acting the same way that he was. Calling himself Rotaryisgarbage.

  • Beautiful competition yellow FD with a damn nice 20b in it

aji8, go back to playing halo and spanking it to pics of your pokemans.

  • lets bash aji8 page i cant stangd him i think hes like a 16 year old kid that needs a ride in a rotary car..straight in to a pole..

  • Lol i put 232,000 miles on my second gen b4 i had to replace the motor. They were mostly all hard driving miles too, i drove it like it wants to be driven almost everywhere i whent. When it came time for a rebuild it wasnt even the apex seals that had failed like every rotary hater seems to want to say, it was the side seals. Rotarys are like realy hot girl friends. Spend time w/ them and treat them well and they love you back forever. Ignore them and they turn on you and go fuck some other dude

  • rofl i guess ill just got take a picture of my odometer and post a link. Why on earth would i lie about somthing as stupid as that? To try and convince you of something?!?!? You've obviously got your opinion set in stone and for some reason have made it your crusade to post on every rx7 vid there is. You're just a random name on the internet and you mean nothing to me or anyone els that loves their rx7/rotary car. 232k..... believe it or not i could give a shit,

  • That wouldn't do any good as we have no clue how many engines you have put in the vehicle or how many times the engine has been apart. I think you are a liar and will say or do anything to prove your point. That is really desperate. You also lie about saying you couldn't give a shit as you are still responding to my posts :))

LOL..you guys are really too ignorant.

  • your right...... b/c i totaly have enough money to pull and replace my motor whenever i want. Welcome to youtube, where everyone els knows everything and you're never right.

  • were ignorant???.........

  • Yes. YOU ARE

  • I have a 1985 beat to shit rx7 with a 12A with 150k miles on it, still runs perfectly. Just sayin.

  • Ever heard of the Mazda 26b winner of the 1991 24 hours of le mans? Out of a 56 car field, only 12 cars finished the race, 3 of them being rotary powered mazdas. so before you go talking endurence and milage, think about just how far those engines traveled in 24 hours. if those engines were embraced in the le mans series, instead of being BANNED for being to fast, they would be much more popular today

  • @1337Metalface I love my 13B. I run that thing as hard as I can. It never fails to start and never loses a race.

  • that aji8 guy has gotta be the biggest fag on youtube, he is literally on every rotary based video posting comments about how the rotary sucks. 20 bucks says he drives a honda or some peice of shit. Like, i don't care if you think the rotary is garbage, keep your fuckin comments to yourself. Odds are that a person saying the rotary engine is not reliable doesn't know what they are talking about, modded their car improperly or didn't take care of their engine. Rotary fuckin power

  • Real mature. I expect nothing more from an idiot rotard. More excuses for the glass engine...LOL..

  • youre still an idiot.

    go lurk somewhere else...

i think you secretly love rotarys... youre everywhere, where a rotary video is.

just admit it... you wish you had a rotary. :)

    Troll Alert!

  • I had a rotary. I yanked the motor, and got rid of it on ebay to someone that had a rotary that went south on him. I am just thankful that I could help both of us out by giving my 13B to him. Although he will be needing another one after this one ruins.

    Rotary engines are very unreliable.

  • Are you retarded or something? If you say no i know your lieing.

  • I say the rotary is junk, you are the retarded one hence you are a "rotard"

The rotary is a junk engine, my car was on its second when I bought it and when I pulled the engine it was sold to a buyer on ebay due to the fact that his rotary junk went south. The rotary is garbage. This is why the industry chose piston engines. Anybody that can't realize that is a moron.

  • -.- Mazda spend more then 40 years on developing the Rotary Engine, and sinds 2001 they are proven to be more reliable then the most Pistol engines from cheap manufactures, Like Hyundai and Citroen. Btw why are you so lifeless spamming nonsence shit on youtube? Please get a life and fuck off.

  • Why should i fuck off? I enjoy these video's, your the one at the wrong place. :'-)

  • I was just using your own words against you. Actually I enjoy the replies. You are still ignorant and misinformed though and the rotary is a POS.

  • Yes and that all is said by someone whose IQ is -50, Great way to spend your time.

  • Since I am repeating your words, that would reflect your IQ and not mine moron.

  • ... You sir realy are retarded, Ignorance, and being a complete fool.

Go watch some video,s you realy DO enjoy, and if you hate the Rotary engines that much, why are you watching video's about them and then complain to the people who DO like the engines?

    Bad youth or something?

  • You are the one supporting a junk engine. I suggest you refer to yourself while typing insults.

  • @aji8 Argueing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win, your still retarded. So my hat goes off to you Mr. Escape all reality, because in a world full of ingeniuity and creativity you choose to close your mind and become a follower. Not to mention I would like to add to your stupid smart ass replies by adding Its amazing how everytime you open your mouth you prove how useless you are!

  • Keep living in fantasy land. I am laughing at you now. I am happy that I got rid of the junk engine before I had to throw lots of time and money at it. It is junk. Time for you to own up to that fact. There is a reason that people replace the rotary with piston engine and not the other way around moron.

  • There is a reason that the global automobile manufacturers do NOT use the rotary engine, moron. Get a clue.

  • @aji8 dude get a clue now your mixing in politics into what seems to be your opinion thus I will now reply one last time and say this put your dick down and stop the cronic masterbation, get off of your pc and go out live life, and one last thing buy a rotary.

  • You are an idiot, if you think it is political. The rotary engine history for Mazda has not been all that great. However you are too stupid to know something like that. The rotary engine is junk and I would never buy one as I spent a lot of time pulling one out to get rid of the junk.

  • mate u are a fuckin retard i have bein running the same 13b turbo for 5 years now and all that i have done is new plugs and oil changes never had motor out or apart and i give it death every day its wat they built for and ur piston engines aint to good either i have had 4 let go from giving them death so up to u but i no rotarys are are a great motor and like anything treat them right they last a long time

  • @aji8 by the way

  • You are an idiot and obviously you like pot. You are probably confused as you wouldn't be able to remember anything as most of your life is probably spent in a drug induced haze. Do you have any proof of what you say? No, you don't. Go away moron.

  • c'mon hachi, don't insult retards by associating aji with them.

  • lol, that was a good one.

  • go and eat a fucking burger fag. leave these videos alone.

  • grow up

  • Proud owner of a 3rd gen for 8 years w/ 60+k on my 13b. It has nothing to do with the motor your moron.(aji8)

  • Kool aid to the piston guys. If you cant undestand it its not good..What a bunch of morons. Thats a sweet 20b

  • Can't you read? 326.7rwkw

  • I want to see the dyno sheet, not some rotard liar stating figures. That is not worth shit. This engine is weak.

  • I'm not sure what you're up to. If you think you're saving the world one rotary video at a time, you have no life. Lol, RX7's with LS1's, have you heard of destroying a car? These are sports cars with a focus on handling, not muscle cars. If you want it, go buy a Z06, one of the only half decent cars to come out of America in 20 years.

  • Mazda destroyed their own car by using the junk rotary. The lsx engine only improves the car.

  • @aji8 yeah, if all you want to do is go in a straight line. The FD was engineered for perfect front/rear weight balance. The rotary, like any engine requires maintenance and someone who knows how to drive. Rotaries, like piston engines whether they be 4,6, 8 or however many cylinders can be made to be great high output engines, you just have to know what you're doing. If someone destroys their rotary engine its because they don't know what they're doing. stop being close minded and grow up.

  • @ashermerkabah

More excuses for the weak rotary engine.,Nothing new here. Get a real piston engine and you won't have to make excuses about the owner anymore. The rotary is the problem NOT the owners. I dare you to go to Rx7club and tell the owners that have bad engines that they were the problem. You would get laughed out of the forum. Get a clue liar.

  • @aji8 what makes me a liar? I speak the truth. I don't need to make excuses for the rotary, I've seen its performance, as have you obviously, since you seem to be on every rotary video on youtube. You should get a clue man, I'm not saying that rotaries always beat piston engines, but they can and have beaten them. Rotaries are an amazing invention. and you're daring me to go onto some forum and talk shit about people? What are we 5? I'm not you. Get a life man, seriously.

  • @ashermerkabah

LOL..you do make excuses and I have seen broken down rotary engines and Rx7s that have other engines because the glass rotary engine can't take any stress. I guess if you like rebuilds the rotary engine is your power plant. I will just drive my piston Rx7 and let you guys keep rebuilding your rotary powered Rx7s. LOL

  • @aji8 idiot

  • @aji8 idiot

  • those things arent made for the strip.. put some suspensions in it, add a turbo and woop some hard ass at the track.

  • meanest sounding rotory iv ever heard...then again i havent heard many....only heard the 1ns at FormulaD

  • have you had a rotary engine your self ?

  • all early motors do have problem but still, you shouldnt say all rotary are bad just because you had one that was almost bad. i mean, i had a car with a 2.0L inline4, the car was shit, and some problems occured, then i shredded the car :>. just because of that i don hate Inline engines, or piston engines for that fact.

  • aight :)

  • because the cars were abused early in the engines life by people who didnt know how to care for the engine.

treat any engine like that and it will have a short life. theres a lot less to go wrong with these engines though

  • I totally agree that the rotary engine is very reliable. in fact it is immune to the little problems that may plague piston engines. However, because the rotary relies on such few major parts, this also means that it is more likely that a failure of an internal engine part will be catastrophic. Combine this with the lack of knowledge on the rotary possessed by the general public and you will find that the "blown engine" is more likely to happen in a rotary then a piston engine.

  • It has plenty of its own problems like broken apex seals, and warped housings. You are an idiot for that statement as you left information out like all the other rotary liars.

Keep making excuses for the glass engine (rotary) All these poor engines mistreated..boo hoo..get a clue moron/

  • @aji8 and piston engines have all the same problems with them, Warped/broken connecting rods, broken cams, piston rings scoring the cylinder walls, pistons cracked or broken. ALL from pushing it past their limits, its all about knowing the limits of your engine and its parts. Exceed them, and boom, there goes your engine, piston or rotary, doesn't matter. There's no perfect motor, every motor has its faults, just as much if not MORE can go wrong with piston engines due to more moving parts.

  • @ashermerkabah

LOL..wow considering just about every car in the world is a piston engine with your logic every car would be broken down and not driving. Guess what?

They are not which means you have no clue what you are talking about which is appropriate for most rotards. You are a moron that makes excuses for a failed engine and attacks the reliable engine. Obviously you are an idiot.

True there is no perfect motor, but a piston is a lot closer than the wanker engine/

  • @aji8 idiot

  • @aji8 Defensive much? I can tell you're an immature individual because instead of coming of with valid points, you flood debate with nothing but name calling and more pointless half truths. I most definitely have a clue what I'm talking about, I have a degree as an automobile technician, have worked on cars my whole life. When did I attack the piston engine? I myself, do not own an RX7, but have worked on them and I like them. I'm not making failed excuses, look at the videos you post so much on

  • @ashermerkabah

Moron there are plenty of vids on here of failed rotary engines. Also just because you see one good video doesn't mean the engine lasted very long. You are just making an assumption or guessing which is why rotards are called rotards.

  • @aji8 Just because you had a bad experience or two on an engine doesn't make it a bad engine, it makes you a bad tuner. Learn how to work with the Wankel engine and fix your problems instead of placing the blame on an inanimate object. Have a sense of responsibility. This will be my last response to you as I'm pretty sure you're probably just a troll anyways and I'm absolutely sure all you will come back with is more name calling and pointless jabber. Go learn about engines Aji8.

  • @ashermerkabah

    Once again guessing?????

I never had a bad experience with a rotary however I know of many that have. I pulled the triangle nightmare before it could let me down. However my car was on its second rotary at 140K when I bought it which tells you something. How about you learn about logic idiot.

  • @ashermerkabah Wrong moron. I never had a bad experience with a rotary engine. I took mine out before it could give me problems. However I do know lots of car guys in my local groups that have to rebuild their engines, and I see what they have to go through. I know more about engines than you will ever so the last statement is just idiotic which is common for someone like you.,

  • @aji8 fucking lies... can't keep your facts straight I see... you blew you rotary like you told me... fucking faggot cant keep maintenance up...

  • @aji8 I use a 20B engine in my rx7 for over a year now. That may not seem like long, but remember, I take it to the track every weekend also. The only reason I am not making lap times at the local track at the moment is because I still use it for city driving. Switching between the two is an hours work before i take her out, but worth it. And still, not a single issue. I think your friends who have bought rotary engines got from the same company who imports cars that were driven like teenagers.

  • @ashermerkabah aji8 is just a lost person. aji8 doesnt know what he/she is talking about other than spouting out junk. Aji8 cannot stomach that the rotary engine has won more scca/imsa races in the last 35 years than any other model car. Oh yes the engine sucks that bad that it even topped porsche. Mazda is second in professional wins in general and first in ameture and professional combined. Aji8 still doesnt get it and never will other than insulting people that dont agree

  • @cliffkemp Oh I completely agree, he does nothing more than name call like a child and has nothing of interest to say. He has no facts other than stories made up do to his ignorant hatred for something he doesn't understand. He's responded twice to my comments, both of which I just delete whenever I see any of his replies in my inbox, he not worth talking to about cars as he has no real knowledge of them anyways. Its like talking to a child. Is it any wonder why EVERYONE disagrees with him?

  • @ashermerkabah very true. aji8 is just like a child, gets mad and pouts cause someone doesnt agree and calls people names like a 3 yr old kid.

  • @aji8 @aji8 oh this is going to be too easy we let more and more people about you and you will get owned again ... you are the laughing stock of you tube ..

  • @rxi11 actually the rotary engine is the laughing stock of youtube with so many videos of failure.

  • @aji8 you fail , your are the defination of failure , and you've been owned by so many people on here you are clearly are the dumbest person on the internet .. with love King of the Rotards .

  • @aji8 are u high?! hahahahaha, right now YOUR the laughing stock of youtube!

  • @aji8 Nooo, you look for videos of failure, there's a difference...

  • Proper maintenance and care is definitely key to a rotary engine

  • More excuses for the weak rotary...boo hoo...Yeah yeah..it is always something else .I hear you...LOL

  • 326 kw = ~438 HP

It says right in the MORE INFO to the right

  • is it 326,7 horses or 444,3 hp?

  • Ahh, we meet again

If you hate rotors so much why do you keep watching videos of them so much.

I know it's so you can bad mouth them and tell people they're idiots (with no consequences) but is that the only reason.

  • and yet it would still beat what you have.... its not all about power.

  • do you know that the RX7 runs 13.8 1/4 mile STOCK... this one is a highly modified one probably go into the 10s... AND ITS ONLY a 2.0 litre

  • 1.3 liter to be honest, mathematically yea, its about 2 liters to what the power equals out to..... but it still spanks v8s on a track.

  • This is a 20b its 3 rotar = 1962 cc.

  • NOT when it is stated in the info that it's got 326.7 Rear wheel kilo Watts! Multiply that with 2.5, and you get the HP.

  • you again, listen fuck off and grow up you cockhead no one wants to listen to your shit. fuckin yanks.

  • that's a lot more then what your huffy pedals out aji8.

  • omg the 3 rotors sound so badass...i wish my 13b-msp could sound like that :( ...or just pull like that lol

  • That is one sweet 7!!

  • you guys can argue all you want. I am the best and i dont even have a car.

  • LOL, these stupid idiots who dwell on and talk about cars so passionately need to go out and get laid.

  • i have a rx7 1997 with 20b but twin turbo... 698 HP : ) with street tires.

  • And it matters what kind of tires you have why? this comment right here proves that you have no clue what your talking about and lying just to sound cool. this isn't high school so grow up and act accordingly.

  • why the fuck does it matter what kind of tires u used to get 698 HP? unless u have special racing tires that add 47rwkw on the dyno. i heard a GTR badge does the same thing...

  • you sir are an idiot, plz go drown yourself in a bucket or a kiddie pool.Good tires=good traction and stability, their question anwsered.

  • its a fucking dyno. its strapped down. it wouldnt matter if u had full tubs or street tires u would get the same reading u fuckwit. go neck urself

  • An increase in power requires an increase in the resistance of the drum on the dyno to get a proper reading...that increase in resistance with tires that don't have very good traction results in spinning the tires on the drum, resulting in a lower torque/HP reading. Education...it helps.

  • if a car is properly strapped down to the dyno, the car should not spin tyres on the drum. and since he is saying the car made 698hp, im thinking traction on the dyno would not be an issue. the guy is lying out of his ass for no reason but to make himself feel big. and oh, u must give me the name of ur school, as i would be interested in putting my kids through chassis dynamometer physics, as they didnt teach it at my school...

  • Strapping a car down does not increase the pressure of the tires on the drum, it prevents the vehicle from moving laterally on the drum while obtaining a reading.

And you don't need a class devoted specifically to dynamometer physics...it's simple physics 101: coefficient of friction. If the power of the car overwhelms the coefficient of friction between the tires and the drum, the tires can indeed spin on the drum, reducing the force applied to the drum, reducing the dyno reading.

  • Look up JDM RX-7

  • You are dumb.

  • face palm times 1000.. do some research before you call someone else stupid. the 3rd generation Mazda RX-7 was made from 1992-2002 in the United states it was 1992-1995 sadly. but up till 2002 they were made and sold in japan.

  • series 8 spirit r was a masterpiece.

  • thats in the usa

they were made till 01 in japan

  • 2002 in japan.

  • that was a cute blowoff

  • if u wanna hear a crazy rotary look up the 787b its a 4 rotor 26b i believe

  • yep, they sound way better than even an F1 car, or three...

  • I thought a 20B Turbo would put down more than 438.11hp. What's the psi on this beauty?
