I knew this man in the early 80's and I knew his father Stan, who ran a local working mens club in Wavertree, Liverpool.

Mick would come behind the bar after a caberet and force a handful of ten pound notes into his dads pocket. I also know he did a lot of work for charity

@paulpowell3540 I work in security at an entertainments venue & Mick Miller played there a few nights ago. Rather than buggering off straight after his act like most do, he got changed & headed for the bar where he happily chatted to people, signed autographs & posed for photos while at the same time politely watching the band that followed him. He also took the time to have a bit of banter with security when most "artistes" just blank us. A very funny guy, and a bloody nice fella to boot!
