@TheZaccoweb nah, it's cool... I just hate seeing cash ins. While a fan of the series, I'd base it towards anything... When a series is produced, a fanbase is sure to follow, and it's great to hear something enjoyed is getting a full production towards a movie, so why go and just sh** on everything the fans came to enjoy just to get a couple bucks. It's asinine and is just a shot in the face to everything that made the series popular, not to mention it definitely won't bring in many new fans

doesnt follow any of the story. they just used the characters. if ur a fan of tekken. youll notice ALOT of mistakes in thes tory and characters. christy hooks up wit jin and she doesnt even do capoeira in tha movie.

@TheZaccoweb I didn't say it had to be exactly alike, but if you're going to do a film on an existing series, no one can argue that you should at the very least, capture the essence of the story you're basing your film on. They didn't even try. None of the character relations even remotely match up. Tekken is just a setting... the entire story revolves around the feud between Heihachi and Kazuya, and Jin trying to take them BOTH out... a point they missed completely

This movie is "lost in time", it should of been made back in 1985 along w. all 1980s 1990s action flicks of Jean-Claud Van Damme, Schwartzneger, Stallone, Seagal, and Norris.

The characters not looking like their counterparts is forgivable. Not once have I seen a fighting movie with actors that properly matched their game counterparts, so I'll ignore that. What I can't forgive is the story. Seriously? Christine and Jin making out? What's the connection!? It would have made more sense to put Xiaoyu or Asuka. I mean, how did they even come up with these two together? Did they just search for the most popular male and game female characters and stick them together?

This movie, unlike SF and DB is looking really good. If you people noticed, they had most of the attributes of all the characters in Tekken to a tee. And if you people think that movie is bad, you clearly haven't seen King of Fighters.

I hope this movie is better than dragon-shit ball, I don´t like so much the Kazama´s occidental face, they must put a japanesse actor, Takeshi Kaneshiro looks like jin kazama for example.The games are f*cking awesome so I hope the movie still being cool too ^^
