  • Can anyone say Bush dynasty? Crooks rule!!

  • The Pharmaceutical Healthcare Complex has emerged since the Reagan/Bush presidency and is just as dangerous, because it dumbs down the population with anti-depressants, and robs Medicare and Medicaid of funds for name brand drugs. The Pharmaceutical industry is the main reason for the skyrocketing cost of healthcare. Look up the connection of GHW Bush and the Eli Llily Corporation, the makers of prozac and zyprexa. Look up the cost of drugs like zyprexa and abilify.

  • Please redo this without the music, or at least with the music turned down. This is very interesting info, but also very nerve wracking with the distracting music. Maybe trying to make a point about distracting propaganda drowning out the truth?

  • google the following because it relates to this video; "Police Mind-reading Wars-Verizon."

  • the music is equal to your speaking and its really hard to understand you or stay focus. Its to bad. I had to stop watching.

  • why would you put music over you speaking

  • all i heard is freaken music

  • The unfortunate reality of the MIC is that the USA needs it. Without it your countrys economy would crumble. Nobody knows how to fix it because it has become a "Juggernaut"

  • The background noise is just too much it drives me crazy.

  • The Military-Industrial Complex refers to of course Our Military, coming under the influence of Private Companies. But not only does it refer to our Military, but also our Government. Today Companies are allowed to fund candidates with unlimited amounts of Money. So what President Eisenhower told us was true. We are under the Power, and Influence of the Military-Industrial Complex.

  • is this supposed to be some kind of Immortal Technique interlude or something?

  • i hear it's this great hydroponic weed they have in amsterdam

  • So the US government made Hitler invade Poland, and then didn't join in for a few years, then they made the Berlin wall, then they made the Koreans have a war, and the UN and Chinese join in, then they made Vietnamese kick out the French just so they could go in and have a dust up, then they toppled their own government in Iran, just so they could sell arms to Iraq to fight Iran, then they made Saddam invade Kuwait, the Serbs and Bosnians to start murdering each other, and then 9/11... right...

  • @Ottiesuit no no, don't be rediculous...they didn't "make" any of this happen...they just facilitated it!

  • @Ottiesuit

haha i agree with you completely, a lot of very stupid people think the government and MIC orchestrate the wars through giant conspiracies etc.

the reality is they take advantage of the situations which develop around the world and use the corporate owned media which has a vested interest in military spending to effectively brainwash people

    e.g- fox news

e.g- fear of communism as a pretext to war in vietnam

e.g- fear of muslims after 9/11 to invade iraq

  • you're awesome, great vid.

  • professional video :) thanks

  • Legislative and National Security policy processes aside, nothing gets done without logistics. I have yet to hear one opponent of the MIC speak out about NASA, Scientific Research, Global State Department Objectives, Non-Military Humanitarian Projects, or just Job Creation etc. The “media” & other news agencies are not “state-owned” or run. They are privately owned: All corporations/shareholders have a stake in agenda(s) and policies. How much leverage/agenda is what is wrong with the MIC

  • Great vid, I just wish the rest of america was as conscious.

  • Good vid man! thanks for trying to shed some light in a reasonable way.

  • Good job dude!

  • portishead?

  • So in other words its almost like in Hollywood. The directors make movies and at the same time promote Pepsi or any other junk food. Like programming us and brainwashing us that this is right, etc, same with MIC, I guess.

  • @psychedelicsoul notice all the new war games, all the new war movies?

  • @UnknownRex Oh shiittt, wait a minute, wat are u trying to say??!! Cause when I started doing my research 3 years ago I noticed how popular these military games have become now in these years but no one seems to point it out. U can also hear some of the characters talk about something weird like if foreshadowing something. Guess I was right anyways. Well Im not sure about the movies but do u realize how political the moviesare. For example, Expendables,Machete,Red,WallStree,Skyline,ETCI guess.

  • @psychedelicsoul indeed

  • Oh I read during the 2000 elections (its been removed though) that certain donors like Grumman, Northrup, Lockheed, G.E. etc had donated $177 Million to GW Bush's campaign. Gee I wonder WHY they would do that? Maybe its just because they think he's a nice guy huh?

  • G.E. owns Time Warner. Most of the media you see is Time Warner based.

G.E. Makes the engines for miltary aircraft like the F-16. So, what would profit G.E.? Being in a war right? How much money to "influence corrupt bureaucrats" and control media does the Miltary Industrial Complex (MIC) have after having US pay them TRILLIONS of dollors over the last 40-50 years? How many millions of people have died in wars contrived to make money for the MIC and no other reason except to monopolize oil?

  • @elouwen Retreat to your bunker and keep adjusting those antennas. I have no problem with you spending the rest of your life in paranoia in a bomb shelter somewhere while the rest of us live or lives.

  • @elouwen Your cherry picked examples of the most powerful nation in the world exerting it's influence on other countries isn't revealing anything new, nor is it going to win over anyone. It doesn't even counter my original argument, that Iran/NK/Jidhadists were a threat. It's funny how America always ends up to blame in your version of the spin of their existence, but these countries are ripe for strife and misery anyway, as is anywhere a despotism could potentially exist.

  • @elouwen Are you still here? Didn't I tell you to go play in the mud with your tye-died friends?

lol @ only knowing how to survive by war profits...guess creating the tech industry doesn't count as ingenuity in your debbie downer eyes, huh? Oh yeah, and apparently all those people on Wall Street sit around with their thumbs up their asses all day, they're not making any money either.

  • Wars are launched by societal leaders for personal reasons and on behalf of their citizen-slave drones for the primary purpose of committing societally sponsored mass murder in order to alleviate unpleasant psychological states and return to emotional homeostasis.

For the full Forbidden Truth on war, visit My website.

  • @elouwen And still no counter-argument. Thanks for proving me right.

Oh and "fat mouth," good one, that didn't even make sense.

Go join a commune and roll around in your own filth while listening to music and smoking pot all day. Your kind is a lot happier in that environment, trust me.

  • @elouwen Wow for a supposed Navy vet you sure to cry easily, don't you?

Good job reprimanding my "put downs" and then proceeding to contradict yourself by doing the same. Hypocrisy much?

Also noticed that you couldn't actually rebuke my argument. Do yourself a favor, use the G.I. bill to pay for a Logic 101 course at your local community college, then maybe you won't be a giant waste of internet space.

  • @elouwen Want a cookie? I couldn't care less about your accomplishments.

Iran is a problem, we'll have soldiers stuck in Iraq until whenever they stabilize because Iran is a constant threat to them. N Korea poses a threat to our allies in Asia. And did you really say that Jihadists aren't a problem? You better be trolling me.

These "propaganda" theories are just an offshoot of tin foil hat conspiracy theories, the root of these problems often lie in simple geographical conflicts.

  • @elouwen Except that America is the only country willing to stand up to North Korea, Muslim Jihadists, and Iran.

Don't worry, we'll continue to fight Europe's battles for them, just remember, don't bite the hand that feeds you.

  • Dude... Great video.. Just lose the music PLLEAASSEEE

  • How many states in the south depend on the military & corporate welfare supporting military contacts? Both parties depend on the MIC but only one lives or dies by it. I think the answer is apparent. This is why they want to "cut the budget" b/c they know their particular budget will never be cut. This same political party also depends on non-US car Mfg. which means they will do anything to bring down American car Mfg & everything to benefit German & Japanese cars. Ironic?
  • Well you definitely have your story straight. Weather you are reading from a script or not, you've condensed an explanation of the Military Industrial Complex in under six minutes so that anyone unfamiliar with the subject can understand. Excellent job!

  • The whole free market capitalism notion in the U.S is a facade. The biggest corporations have guaranteed markets in the military and other segments of the government. In housing section 8 replaced projects living standards unchanged. The department of homeland security created solely for this purpose with an unlimited budget. There is no need for innovation. Republicans talk about big government and government employees yet they're fine private companies surviving on government contracts

  • i know, how common knowledge works. If it is not common knowledge it can be declared to be "insanity" by the purveryors of common knowledge. Does anyone believe that there is a "GICCC" (ghostable interface controller crasher chip) that is essentially an aspect of a universal or general remote control that is probably in your newer Toyota, or airplanes or even wall street. It is kind of like a universal means to hack and steal or destroy. It's gotto be aliens or Off worlders.

  • i tend to think the the Prez of USA is actually living in fear of these people. The entire national news is lying every single day about 911. Does anyone care that Dick the VP was present at the '70 bombing at UWis. It was actually his bldg that got bombed. It was probably supposed to be an initiation/psyops kind of ceremony but a janitor got killed. It might have been his "baby" dunno... The trial files became "national securitized" and sealed. Don't blame Obama. He's ready to hide.

  • It's just people trying to raise their status by making up a reason to spend and kill. It's a way to power or the status of believablilty. They are like gang members who have reached the pinnacle of "gang-ness". Lie cheat steal, and learn to be masterful at it while creating a situation where anyone who is not a member is an enemy to the state. You need alot of "on boarders" to achieve that. So it is like a group of wealth scumbags with a common interest of power and cash. It's a living.

  • This is really important, solid information that is fully documented and substantiated by many political analysts. (For example, see the documentary, "The Corporation" and others. ) Because what you say is all so true, I struggled past the distracting music to pay attention to every word. I wish you would do it again without the music which, sadly, adds nothing but irritating background noise.

  • hahahahhahahhhhhhhhh

  • Your message is extremely important, AND SERIOUS, but not conducive to the reality of the subject or to your credibility. I hope you see fit to redo the video and eliminate the background music. I think that would make a big difference.

  • Theres a parasite on this planet's back. And most people dont even want to acknowledge its existance. This is just 'how things are'

  • good, informative video, just drop the soundtrack please

  • music is very distracting and completely unessessary it's like trying to listen to two people at the same time. If you want to put music to a video like this make sure it doesn't have lyrics. The editing is also terrible infact the word would be lame. Too bad because what your saying is very interesting and important for people to hear. I can't even watch the whole video, I want to punch you in the face and become a gay prostitute for the republican party now.

  • Short version. The military is a parasite that sucks the life out of america. It needs to be cut by 80%. Those losers in the military need to get real jobs and stop living off the government like welfare queens.

  • its the fkn devil is wat

work it out!!! we are in hell mate and its not a joke ./.. fuck profits its a lie

    its hell trust me ..

look at nature .. we are the gazel and hes the fucking lion

    have a nice day

  • Hey man :) Yeah its brilliant, you should also check out "War Made Easy", about how western media outlets like CNN, BBC etc basically sold the Iraq/Afghan conflicts to us through subtle reporting methods. Its a brilliant film, though not exactly about the Military Industrial Complex ;)

  • The late royal imperial emperor of Ethiopia Haile Salasie has literally warned Ike Eisenhower about the military industrial complex.

Unfortunately this military industrial complex has expanded to a point that America is now the world's biggest war machine since Nazi Germany. Anytime now WW3 will start, and the main perpetrator will be the USA.

  • whats that song in the biginnin??...and thanx for sheddin light!

  • America only bullies countries they can bully! You don't see them going after any 1st world countries do you!

  • @blabblab1212

    I agree!

The american people are so sick of this bullying by the government.

We are about to go to war with Iran, and the people are sadly too worried about American Idol, or how they are going to get their new Iphone.

The good news is, that Americans are waking up to the corruption within, but if we dont wake up fast enough, America will start WW3.

This should be a lesson to the rest of the world, pay attention to your "elected" representatives.

    Hold them accountable!

  • Wow seems if your not in politics you will never influence or delay events. Out of politics your just another mad fucker who ppl are afraid to make eye contact with.

  • this assclown is probably a nobama supporter and gun control supporter - if i ever see this dumbass im gonna kick his ass

  • @bplast --Wow your a real internet tough guy. Fuck off loser.

  • portishead you know your music and your shit stay up

  • yeah whats with the music? its okay but TOO LOUD why ? when you have such great information? And yes I am one of those people who pretended to know what the military industrial complex is WAIT I still am !! because i couldnt HEAR WHAT U SAID FOR THE MUSIC !!

  • i agree that fucking music is so distracting...fuck this i'll go read it myself christ lol

  • my fav example is Opel making trucks for Nazis and Chevy making trucks for the Allies both owned by GM

  • It's a little over-reaching, but otherwise this is a solid piece. Lockheed Martin's individual parts existed before the first world war, so they are beneficiaries, not bi-products of the MIC.

The post-war change in the US' role in the world had as much to do with the development of the MIC as did the companies that supplied it. And what about the "Iron triangle"?

  • great monolouge man, but u should definately should consider losing the music.

  • I guess its true I mean all video games are basically Murder-Kill-Destroy.

  • Strongly agree that the music is distracting in the extreme.

That's too bad. I'd share this on Facebook if it wasn't there.

  • Why add such distracting music in the background? Doesn't even go with it. I gave up trying to listen halfway through. It's just too taxing for the effort.

  • I only here music

  • this guys full of shit, the only thing i agree with is that government tries to control opinion, which works but not fully. Of course the evolution of military weapons and technology is going to happen, this is life, and that is what we do. its 2009 not 1961

  • are u fucking kidding me? ohhh this is just something we should accept. we should just call it ordinary evolution that elite nations of the world manufacture war to generate business and profit. oh it's just normal that something like that is legal and that our representatives are doing nothing to preserve the values of the constitution..ah fuck it,that's just what happens..we shouldn't demand change or anything..pull your head out of your ass..there were more contractors in iraq than soldiers.

  • dwight eisnhower was just hitting the bong too much when he saw corporate interest surrounding the military and war and warned us about it huh?..all the c]construction comapines that buzz in and rebuild areas devestated by war..all of the contracting comapines and who offer no bid contracts to big business..the military is run by the federal government..there is an obvious merge between them and big war profiteers..war produces so much money..open your eyes man.

  • good vid

  • OK, Lets have some fun, when your next "election" happens, everybody write on the "ballot form" - THIS IS A SCAM AND IM NOT TAKING PART AS I DONT LIKE SCAMMERS!!...If millions of people do this in there countries next general election, the Elite will start to get the mesage that people are waking up and coming together...So come on, get your thinking caps on, lets get together and show these murdering bastards a thing or two!!!

  • well there are many ways to deal with parasites. You can kill them, you can stop them from reproducing, you can deny them their food nurishment. Telling a parasite you know its there isnt going to remove the parasite.

  • That is fucking awesome.

  • We must have a powerful military as a deterrent of other militaries attacking us. If one nation has a military industrial complex, don't we all need them?

  • u must not know the extent of US militarism. it goes far beyond just preparation for an attack from another country. it dominates the civilized world. there are US bases in almost every nation on earth. we have like 460 bases total. most are enormous. our military budget in 2005 was almost as much as the rest of the world combined. it's not for defense. it's a profit generating industry. there's no justifying it..war is a business. enemies are created, and wars are orchestrated.

  • @itzahazy-I absolutely agree with you, but according to Chalmers Johnson there are 726 bases that we support so it's even worse. I recommend his American Empire trilogy: Blowback, The Sorrows of Empire, and Nemesis. Best wishes- keep commenting.

  • @itzahazylife Pay attention to that number "460"

  • @itzahazylife

    more like 700 bases.....

  • so well said, bravo. America is a wierd place, Isenhowers final address is so interesting, only came across it recently. What's with Fox new's, think you answered that

for me. I might be Australian, but America needs to be saved, hope Obama's up for it, and can dodge bullets better than Kennedy.

  • Thank you for this!

  • The USA, MIC/ Destroys U & me/ A world genocing monster/ We have the most weapons/ Laugh at R Constition/ 4-decades a murdering killer/ Americans can't see it/ Stupidly argue the bullshit/ Reasons they think we're at war/ We invade everyone/ Millions of innocents gone / & we decimate more & more / Our people don't know/ We could overthrow / Get back democratic rule / Propaganda does scare/ To think, we don't dare/ We ignore it & play the fool These greedy bastard criminals /
  • the military industrial complex eisenhower warned us about was the illuminate controlling the military forces and of the new world order

  • THAT IS A DEF

  • Fucking Facism.

  • Hey, Skitman. My video response to "Dear Mr. Obama" was pulled for "copyright infringement"! Maybe Garric1 had it pulled 'cause I caught his posting of the Kim Kardashian sex tapes and I mentioned it in reply to his last tirade. I'm new at this. Should I re-upload it or are there other better sites that don't arbitrarily suppress the truth that we are in Iraq so defense industry can drain our revenues like in Vietnam?

  • Theres been a permanet military since the Revolutionary War. Y9ur facts are not corect. And whats up with the music. Learn your own opinions. Not ones givien to you by your lefty college professors.

  • It's not about the military. It's about the industrial complex that supplies the army and pushes for more war so that it can make money, and uses the corporate media to encourage more wars so that it can make more money. Where did he say we didn't always have a standing army?

Proveable, real, and, more importantly, destructible only through direct action.

  • Destroying Osama bin Laden is not profitable to the U.S. Military Industrial Complex (which Cheney's company is a part). If Osama were caught, a big prong of US war propaganda (war on terrorism) would be greatly diminished. This is a plausible suspicion in light of numerous "missed opportunities" over the past decade-plus, the fact that OBL has been mysteriously tipped off to at least one impending attack, and CIA closed its OBL-dedicated unit in 2005. (Not improbable. Study Vietnam War.)

  • fuck those bitches hating on the Portishead.............

  • Yeah dude.. fuck the music! You fucked up with that nasty shit.

  • nice video..but y the annoying music?

  • OMG!! thank you so so much !! I am currently doing an assignment on this topic so i am hoping that that was all the truth.

    Thanks again

    Beck

  • war is a permanent solution to a temporary life.

  • you gotta love american ingenuity !!!

  • I get the military industrial complex, but tell me this...when we (taxpayers) spend billions on a war, are we buying the weapons from a company who makes a profit from it?

  • Yes of course.

  • Nearly 25% profit.

  • George washington warned us about the dangers of standing armies and not to seek overseas wars. These two things are the CAUSE of most strife and war, not the defense against it. We will defend ourselves when the time and conciousness of free men deem it to be necessary...not because some millitant fuckos stirred up hornets nest that is a natural part of the enviroment and was no harm to us in any major way.

  • When China develop at least everybody start irrational blame them for everything for a change.

  • this is very good. thank you. this is the next dialogue after "who did 9/11 and why is larry silverstein getting the payout?" "fix healthcare" and "immigration reform."

  • nicely read :-)

  • CHINA is coming, with nearly 2million infantry by the end of the decade, plus $100 billion dollars spent yearly on upgrading the rest of the military. scary thought when you consider india and russia are also not far behind after signing deal for military corporation and research. WW3 anyone (i know some of you are going to aggressively reply to me, so before you do,actually know what your talking about.

  • if you fear these countries it is because a) you are a fearfull person or b) you know that perhaps you have done something wrong and that these guys may be out to get you. Bottom line is WW3 will only happen when both sides decide to make some money and change the borders. It has nothing to do with nationalism or race or right. SO in the end, who cares that china has a millitary slightly larger or smaller than us, and or india or whatever. Its all relative.

  • Scary, but we're spending $400+ billion. They're simply trying to keep up with us.

  • haha. ignorance is bliss. the only facts you know are teh ones given you. even though we research everything on the government corruption still slides through the cracks of fidelity.

  • Very astute.

  • a people deserve the government they get and americans deserve bush, they are a true empire in decline, they will spend themselves bankrupt.China will rule this century mark my words

  • check out Why We Fight if you havent already seen it, its an awesome documentary on the Military Industrial Complex.

  • @kidnapalm Dude, your comment is waaaaay old, but I have that movie and it's awesome!

  • im not being a smartarse, but did you just sit and read that off your screen whilst playing some trippy music in the background ie: did you write and come up with this "knowledge" or are you just basically reading some document back to everyone?

  • Nah I was just talking off the top of my head. This was my very first video ever on camera so I was just staring at the stupid LCD on the camera trying to think of what I should say next to keep things moving along...

  • Oh, sorry, forgot to mention: there is a TON of information about the Military Industrial Complex out there. Heck, even a quick search of YouTube will come up with stuff. It's worth finding out about for yourself... by NO MEANS do I expect you to take MY word for it!

  • Nice video! People need to spend more time thinking about how this effects them.

  • O.K but I don't think profit is the prime motivation. More importantly the need to maintain military dominance is the ultimate goal. To maintain military dominance it is neccessary to dominate the Arms industry. Seems like good sense to me. Until the nation state is redundant, the first role of a government is to protect itself from other nations.

  • I think that's the goal the politicians see... but it's a mechanism that's out of their control. They're only allowed power because that happens to be their view, not the other way around.

As far as it being "good sense"... uh... have you noticed what this military has been used for? The Roman Empire had more restraint.

  • @ntothep The goal of war is to vent emotional and psychological disorders via societally-sponsored mass-murder under a smokescreen that allows you all to delude yourselves that you are doing it for power, money or other utilitarian reasons. See My website for the 100% guaranteed Truth on war.

  • Well done.

    There is emphasis in repetition.

    Well done.

  • you're the most underestimated content provider on youtube! you have great videos! and no one watches! wtf is up w/ that?

  • Thanks! It's probably going to take some of the more popular people commenting on my videos to get any kind of subscription base goin. Anybody have an "in" with anybody? :)

  • Just a thought. It seems that the more popular people aren't interested in this.

  • nice work. knowledge = cool

  • GREAT VID BEAR
