Ralph Nader didn't spoil the 2000 election. He represented a segment of opinion that is at-large unrepresented in the democratic system of the United States. Nader is merely a scapegoat for the Democratic party's shitty campaign and platform. If the Democrats had been willing to shift their party policies to INCLUDE the progressive beliefs of Nader's constituency, they would have eliminated the need for a third-party candidate and would have won the election.
