U cant really compare shockadins to ret pallys... ret pallys arent as gear dependent as shockadins are, shockadins cost more money and time to perfect than ret pallys, and it also depends on luck and timing. I am currently a retadin but i was a shockadin before, so its just depends on ur playing style.

well yes a shockadin may be good up against a ret pally alone but think of the other classes they have to face if the yget any kind of healing reduction effect such as mortal strike or aimed shot your dead and warriors have spell reflect and ret paladins have more cc in arena plus more burst damage and it isnt resistance against holy damage that causes less crit chance its resilience the shockadin relies on crits soely which makes a ret paladin all around better at pvp

i get bigger crits and more consistent DPS than any ret paly who's not full venge or t4+ and im holy spell damage. the only thing ret paladin have over a shockadin is repentance, but i get more armor (i rock a shield) wayyyy better heals (cuz its primarily holy), holy damage has 0 resistance, and i get guaranteed crits when i want them... i shouldnt be telling ppl this but i want more shockadins around. /bitchslap anyone who disagrees cuz they dont know shit...for real

Shockadins are great and all, against almost all melee class (warlocks? no . Druids? no. Mages? no Priests? kiss your ass goodbye). But it's hard to believe for a well geared, and played Ret paladin is any less useful than a Shockadin.

its still a guaranteed crit when i need it :P Warlocks no, Druids? Feral is dead, boomkin is dead, resto cant kill me but i cant kill resto all the time. Mages? TOAST. and Priests, no. I even outDPS'd some T4 ret pallies in gruuls 3 days ago and i was using pvp gear (including some S1) Ret is getting jipped bro. thats cool if you like it but a shockadin is way better no doubt about it.

ANY healers give ret paladins a tough time because we dont have a true spell interupt, hammer of resist and repentance dont count.

Why should I gimp myself, it's the same as a warrior being asked not to use spamstring, warlock without soul link/fear, hunters without traps, etc etc etc.

If I had the opportunity to get the upper hand to my opponents, why not use the spells/talents that blizzard "made" specifically for each pvp encounter?

But anyways, I'm lvling up my Disc priest =P

You'll never know how "skilled" these players are in BGs it varies from starters to elitist gladiator's.

A "real" holy pally expert can give me a great deal of a hard time. but manageable.

I'm making a priest toon. and she's already at lvl 50 under 4 days played.

I'm almost finish lvling a pally myself, just go prot after 40 and the lvls will fly like a breeze. I was skeptical about going from ret to prot myselft, but man did I make the right decision. You can get a quest completed in one pull sometimes, depending on the type of mobs. It's so OP for lvling.

Crusader aura is awsome for pvp and lvling cause its 10% more damage to all holy spells... holy spells is all pally attacks but auto strike awsome for crusader strike judgement....and so on hope i have proved my point it rocks for all ret pallys

Lol this video is funny. right now i am a 62 ret paladin. with blessing of might i hit about 400 a hit and rit about 1.2 k for crusader strike... this guy is a noobsicle.... i have a 70 friend ret paladin that has full season 2. that does a good 1.1 k a hit and 3 k hit and 5 k burst damage. i dont understand you trying to make a video who doesnt know how to use a ret paladin..
