Nice video! I usually use a swivel about 10 inches up the line, since catfish spin so much once you hook them and that can break your line.

@jobu88 that's a good thing to do, but with the catfish this close to the surface when u use floating chum, you can't afford to have 15in. of line out. 10 for the leader, and five to keep it away from the float. 6-8 in. is more that enough.

where im from we catch 15 pound cats in a local stream. we use 4 pound test on a 4 foot Ultra light rod. we fight some for up to 45 minutes. it is a blast!
