this 'Occult' mentioned isn't what modern-religious ppl identify it with. What he really was into was a deeply religious -spiritual outlook on the psyche. He just delved further into religion than most do...'occult' = esotericism = mysticism = deeper knowledge. It is a common mistake to assume that all things 'occult' are the same thing or working for the same ends. Not all are. The various religious traditions of man correspond to the natures of different types of men.
It was interesting to hear one of the commentators use the word introvert(ing as a verb. I don't recall ever hearing it other than as a noun. Cool vid too, thanks
Perhaps he traveled because pedophila was illegal in his country. Was he mysitcal, yes....they call it being totally out of touch with reality. It is good for his androgenous followers to listen to his babbel that way the rest of us can focus undesturbed. Collective unconscious/ or unconscience intreprets not understanding your boundries or being up in other peoples business. Jung was a communist. He was common as dirt.
Sorry, i cant agree with this video. I really cant see anything mystic in Jungs work... its all experimental psicology... Sorry, english is not my first Language....

@futuredays92 It would have to be retested, within the same limits, to be proven, or disproven today. That is what is so AWESOME about it, it cannot be done EITHER way. Medical boards would go ape, they would never allow it!!!!! I am also a conspiracy theorist;)
Alchemistra, you made a magnificent work with this video. Carl Jung was misunderstood not only by the scientific establishment of his era, he still is even in contemporary times, despite the recent advancements in in depth psychology. Jung was a perfect example of a genius who went beyond dogmas, regardless of whether these are rational or metaphysical.
Once again, this video is a very good introductory presentation of Jung's ideas.
Thank you, Yannisastra! Jung's self-introspection was the source of his genius, and he was able to extrapolate the knowledge gained thereby to the benefit of others, ie. who would later apply his methods.
C.G. Jung understood, that there are two dominant models of existence that shape the interaction and destiny of the human race. Each human is developing their belief system from one or both of these models of existence. The evolution/saviorship model is the dominant model. C.G. Jung understood, that we are timeless, deathless, and sovereign. All information flows from Source Intelligence, to us, and it is our responsiblity, to become self-enlightened, and self-liberated.
It's from a 2007 DVD "Secrets of the Occult", these sections of the series, however, I think, are more representative of mysticism rather than pure occultism, albeit the dividing line in thin, lol.
Typical "choosen" behavior. Hah hah! Freud lost!

What about Chuck Norris?
ThePoltergueist 6 months ago
@ThePoltergueist Carl Jung would destroy the physical prowess of Chuck Norris with his psychic mental prowess.

@Brunoabuhanna how can it be experimental if it was applied and tested on thousands of patients?
