@BrianMorrison71 Maybe it's because SRV always payed homage to the great players he emulated, maybe it's because SRV sought them out to play with him on tour or maybe it's because SRV was a great guy, even though he had a drug problem for a great deal of his short life, he didn't alienate himself from others. He maintained an honest, humble and genuinely great quality of humility. In short SRV was a man, perhaps THE MAN, and Mayer is a boy. A big manchild at best.

it's a made in japan guitar, and i bought it from the auction by yahoo japan.

it is still in production!however you could not find it on the website of edwards because the "relic series" was made by the edwards custom shop.

Very nice video, and a cool guitar. If you like 11-49's, I would suggest trying this set, you may like it: (.011, .014, .018(p), .032, .042, .052) You can still bend strings, but the bass is very clean and pronounced in chords. Much respect to japanese guitarists...

it's 10-46 strings that i was using in the video,but recently i preferred size of 11-49.they have more punch than the 10-46 strings

your guitar should not buzz that much even with the single coils it has a bad ground connection somewhere in the wiring for sure unless not the guitar at all ie cable pedal amp related. Look into it.
