Here is some good advice on it too. Don't just take the muslims at their word that it is a wonderful peaceful way f life. You owe it to yourself to hear the other side of the story. Study it from non-muslim sources as well, so yiou can make a true unbiased opinion about it.
you don't study physics starting with quantum physics do you, or you don't learn to drive by starting with a J-turn. similar principle applies here, too good luck.

Nothing similar about it. This method of teaching islam is nothing more than deception by witholding information. Withoulding the truth is another form of lie. If Islam was so peaceful and wonderful, muslims would not need to resort to this.

hello i have an agnostic background but my soul years for truth. why do you recommend english speakers dont study hadith? and would i reccomend i read the quran and cross refernce the tafsirs as i go
He doesn't recommend English speakers to study hadith because you have to understand them in context and if they're not translated right, the meaning can be distorted highly. Try Mr Mohsin Ali's translation, it's good. My personal favourite is the one by Nj Dawood but it's more for reading rather than studying

Try Mr Mohsin Ali's translation, it's good. My personal favourite is the one by Nj Dawood but it's more for reading rather than studying
