Hi PhotonDrive, Yes “antigravity” levitation, gravity displacement sounds good, the semantics of it all! It is believed that new space-time is created as the universe ages hence the expansion; it could be considered as an “antigravity” effect, but because of the local gravitational effects, from the sun, planets, moons etc, are far stronger than the force of expansion it appears to be of little consequence to us unless we can achieve space time in abundance, now wouldn’t that be clever!

In one of your videos you rotate a mill with magnets with compressed air and achieve levitation over dc powered coils, under my classification this would be Method 6, Magnetic Mono Pivot or Zippe type centrifuge, Group IIA(ii).

Thanks for mentioning materials OTHER than parolytic carbon & Bismuth as Diamagnetic. It seems that aluminum only makes coils float on AC charge flux-change. In other words diamagnetic property must be "refreshed" continually. Why is this?
Hi PhotonDrive, Your most welcome I felt the presentation would not be complete without mentioning them. As for your comment about only aluminium, making coils float is not true. The effect requires non-ferromagnetic but highly conductive materials like aluminum or copper, as the ferromagnetic ones are also strongly attracted to the electromagnet.
@PhotonDrive A magnetic field will repel all metals, in particular good conductors like copper and aluminium, where the repulsion force will exist for a short moment after the magnet approaches the metal. Both copper and aluminium will therefore cause a coil to levitate when eddy currents are generated in a good conductor, if subjected to a time-varying magnetic flux that can be provided by AC.
@PhotonDrive The interaction of the eddy currents with the magnetic flux generates a force that levitates the body identified through the use of Maxwell’s equations. The skin depth formula is used to calculate the depth of required conducting metal plate which is: - d=Squareroot (1/pie.f.u.o) where f is frequency, u, the magnetic permeability of the metal plate and o the electrical conductivity of the plate.
@PhotonDrive The magnetic field inside a conducting plate will decay with this characteristic depth d. Therefore any non ferrous conducting metal will work; the key factors are the magnetic permeability and electrical conductivity of the material that a coil will levitate on.
@PhotonDrive Aluminium and copper have a similar magnetic permeability, copper has a greater conductivity therefore a thinner copper sheet is required for a given frequency, for example at 50Hz, I calculate that a 12mm plate is required for aluminium and a 9.35mm plate for a copper plate, increasing the frequency also decreases the plate thickness required. As a means for space propulsion the magnetic field vector is replaced by the Earth's magnetic field by applying the Lorentz equation the force exerted on the spacecraft depends on the length, number and current carrying capacity of the cable which could also be cryogenically cooled conductors.
According to current scientific reasoning the magnetic field of the earth is between .3 and .6 gauss, in a MRI the magnetic field are in the range of 0.5-Tesla to 3.0-Tesla, or 5,000 to 30,000 gauss, some of the strongest magnets are 60 Tesla. Now, to even consider any thing light enough and powerful enough to repel the earths magnetic field is believed to be outside our current technology we have today. From my understanding back in 1996 I show one way I believed it could be done.
