Dave - No one is absolutely forcing you to be a Christian or a Bible follower, but do remember that the United States of America WAS founded on Christian principles, along with the freedom of religion or from religion. We Christians/Bible followers also do not want anyone telling us that we cannot observe our religious values/beliefs/principles. If you don't want to observe Christian holidays then don't, but DO NOT take them away from those who do!

I didn't know anyone said you couldn't follow whatever holidays or beliefs you have. It's just that mixing them in to something like this makes it so that only Christians will be attracted - when it should be about all citizens. Religion separates us IMO - it only brings together those of the same belief - otherwise it makes for separate groups - which is the antithesis of what god wants, IMO.
