  • I am not saying North Korea is great by any means but I do not think it is as bad as this guy makes it out to be. I have never been there, but judging by the pictures it really does seem somewhat better than say Iraq, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, Somalia ect. but regardless they still scare the shit out of me

  • Like russia.

  • @Zaeboshi Even in Russia it's not THAT bad=)

  • @earthwormjah Go fuck yourself.

  • @madjimms I can't believe I'm actually trying to convince someone that North Korea is a shitty place to live. But hey, if it's so great, go live there. And once you're there, log onto your Youtube account and tell me to fuck myself.

  • @earthwormjah look up "Seven Days in North Korea" & you will see the MODERN areas of NK.

  • @madjimms Are you kidding? That is the tour all foreigners are given in North Korea, during which government minders show visitors all the crazy shit the Kims have built in Pyongyang. North Korea is an insane dictatorship, and the leader of the country, Kim Jong Il, once had a man shoot his wife to death at a dinner party. You're right, N.K is safer than the U.S because anyone who so much as steals a cabbage leaf will have the next three generations of their family sent to "re-education camps"

  • @rocools Dude! Im from Eastern Europe and they have already changed from those crappy ones to cool, fast and improved ones

  • @EpicAwesomness100 so what. Anyways the most of the East European oil trains look like that cus the oil trains arent for beauty you know

  • @rocools i know but europeans have good quality oil

  • Its really a kingdom, ruled by a single family. If you ever want to know why Kingdoms have fallen out of favor as governments recently, you just have to look to North Korea.

  • Looks exactly like it did in the 60's, except everything is shit and the people are starving.... Go North Korea!

  • Excursion to the Korea | North one-way, who would enjoy free passage.

  • in communism a bunch of people is telling you what to do

in capitalism EVERYBODY is telling you what to do

do you think i'm joking? do you think that's freedom?

  • its all eaqually crappy, yay communism

  • Is it possible as a foreigner to live in North Korea? It looks so strong and good.

  • @jip491

    I wouldn't recommended doing so.

  • @jip491 damn near impossible; however comrade joe did it, and i shall be going to extreme lengths to get in

  • The ideology of Marxism (communism) is not flawed, it is in fact a perfect society in a perfect world...and that's where the problem lies.

Every human being is born with the feeling of greed, the want for money, a nice car, a nice house and holidays all over the world.

Communists believe that a human being is happy with being paid the same as everyone else and that human beings wont aspire for more.

They 're wrong. The first thing Lenin did when he came to power was buy a rolls royce.

  • Try going to Africa where millions are starving to death and yes Africa is a DEMOCRACY.... and as Fleishman322 says try Detroit Detroit or Africa i will take NK every time..

  • @jenleex Well, being american, you wouldnt be allowed across the border as the North Koreans hate anyone who isnt North Korean i.e. racist.

Do you even know the definition of democracy? Do you realise that you live in a country that values freedom more than any other? Do you realise why people are dying in africa? Do you realise that North Korea is under a dictatorship where its people have no right to believe or say what they want?

You dont know how lucky you are that you werent born in NK.

  • @jenleex Kim Jong IL has 8 limos and has wild peacocks roaming his massive gardens. Do you think the man in the field has a limo? Does he have a mansion?

No? That's strange, I thought they were equals.

  • 인민의 락원 조선민주주의인민공화국 만세!!

내 모든 원쑤들은 반드시 공화국의 강제수용소에서 죽이야 하나!!!

  • country at your choice, not a quasi free market which screwed up our economies and crushed the living standards and the human development level!) and economically it provided much better conditions than the corrupted capitalist systems in the 90s, so if it would actually have more democratic principles how we, the Leninist-Trotskyists wanted, it can be a very good system...

  • the Bolsheviks called your country the "Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics", not communist republics - Jesus, just learn your own history!) We never really had a true socialist democracy, so you can't say that applied socialism is evil as well, because most of its oppression in applied models was of political nature, (that's why the people had overthrown it in 1989 - they wanted freedom of speech and demonstration, elections with more political parties, and the liberty to leave and enter the

  • North Korea, the basic human needs are assured because of the planned economy, while in capitalist third world states starvation goes through the roof!

And, as a matter of fact my friend, applied communism is not evil at all, as COMMUNISM WASN'T APPLIED! The Stalinist governments of Eastern Europe were socialist dictatorships, and Leninist Russia was a socialist state located somewhere in-between democracy and dictatorship in the political sphere, but none of them were communist. (this is why

  • very poor country, but if we compare it to wonderful paradises of capitalism (which have the same level of GDP per capita) like Nigeria, Mozambique. Namibia or Indonesia, guess what? NK IS MUCH BETTER as Human development! Why? Because in poor Stalinist/Maoist states (despite of the fact that North Korea invented an even more dictatorial system by applying the idea of "Juche") , as wealth is distributed more equally, starvation is avoided. While there is a very big lack of freedom and wealth in

  • and then compare the two states! No matter which systems they would use, Kamchatka would always be poorer, because it is mostly a frozen wasteland! (and despite of the fact that north Korea is much more fertile than Far Eastern Russia, its development was somewhere at the same level in 1945, while South Korea was Heavily industrialized by the "Empire of the Rising sun"...)

Also, don't exaggerate like a hypocrite conservative idiot with the North Korean level of poverty! Yes, North Korea is a

  • @Fleishman322: Why do I have to explain that 100 times? Read all my comments from that series and you'll understand. South Korea was ALWAYS the cultural and INDUSTRIAL CENTER of the whole country! The north was an agrarian region, and its power of self development was very weak! You're from Russia as your profile says, right? So, imagine what would happen if you would create a republic of Kamchatka with the capital at Petropavlovsk, and a republic of European Russia with the capital at Moskow,

  • Why don't they learn from the Chinese? China is the only country that perfected communism in the way that it was intended to be.

  • @lemob182 its not really commie any more, neither is vietnam

  • 2:51 Coordinates, please.

  • 1:49 is it Lenin?

    2:03 soviet archetecture...

2:50 holy crap, i wont to be a GREAT LEADER too!

  • freandwhickquest you brainwashed. What do you think that STALIN KILLED HIS OPPENENTS? WTF, this is bullshit, he dont have oppenents. What do you think about 'cult of personality? That was in Soviet Union only in 46 and 47. What do you think about FORCING people to be a soldier of THE GREAT LEADER? North Korea not communistic contry... What do you think about PUNISHING people because of THINKING DIFFERENT? North Korea not communistic contry... You dont know anythink about REAL communism, right?
  • @GetToHellOut a good chunk of the lenin-era communists was anti-stalin. all the trotskyists in the politburo were executed and a bunch of innocent people who stalin thought were enemies.

you're saying that communism encourages thinking differently? how can communism function if there are people inside the country who oppose the leadership and work for their own benefit?

REAL communism is a fairy tale. it will never be achieved and is unrealistic. applied communism, however, is pure evil.

  • Paradise comes after you leave North Korea....for some only through death...

  • Socialist and communist people .. Please ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS.

What do you think about 'cult of personality?

What do you think about PUNISHING people because of THINKING DIFFERENT?

What do you think about FORCING people to be a soldier of THE GREAT LEADER?

What do you think that STALIN KILLED HIS OPPENENTS?

What do you think about the human right called 'FREEDOM OF SPEECH'?

What do you think about OTHER IDEOLOGIES are FORBIDDEN in totaliterian-socialist countries?PLEASE ANSWER ME !

  • The only reason China can be called a succesful Communist regime is because it slowly began to accept Capitalist notions such as foreign tourism, corporate advertising (MC Donalds), and most of all foreign businesses(Dell). Inspite of its great friendship with China, the DPRK will not allow anyone or anything to enter its borders without a healthy dose of harrasment. In other words: North Korea is gonna keep eating shit until it wises up.

  • @jalalaumad: What? You like being a puppet of the corporations as well? Isn't it enough to be a brainless indoctrinated religious fanatic for you? You prefer to be screwed by rich business tycoons too? Well, I can't stop you, (and I don't care) but leave politics to people who can actually think, not only obey their masters like cattle...

  • the paradise lies in the tight knit community and fellowship, not in materialism. If you lived there you would know.

  • I had nightmares that looked like this ... anyway if this is what the "paradise" looks like I prefer to live in hell for all eternaty!

  • The only advantage it brings is the possibility of getting rich (if you are a greedy selfish bastard) and the existence of more purchasable goods and services! Learn Korean history and only then talk, my brainwashed friend!

  • /Hungary/Bulgaria to see what happens with the SAME NATION when capitalism replaces socialism? I live in one of those countries, and the human development level and the purchasing power parity COLLAPSED in capitalism. Poverty arose again after it had been contained by the planned economy, and the industry of the country was sold by corrupted politicians to private companies on very low prices! Capitalism decreases the prosperity of the people, and it will never be a solution for poor nations!

  • remained nothing more than an AGRARIAN REGION, with VERY FEW CITIES and very few infrastructure. In consequence, when the fascists were defeated in Asia and Korea had been liberated by both American and Soviet forces which decided to spread their influence over the country, the socialist north had much fewer economic possibilities to advance than the capitalist south had, and comparing this two countries is irrelevant. Why not compare the USSR and Russia? Why not compare socialist Poland/Romania

  • Korea was developed further as it was closer to the Empire's heart and could transport to the motherland the goods extracted in this new established colony by using industrial ports like Seoul and Pusan. The Japanese built railways to carry the goods to such ports, industrialized the ports further, renewed their backward technology and build military air bases all over Korea in order to continue their expansion towards Manchuria in 1931. North Korea, during all this time of progress in the South,

  • workforce and thus two times better human development! South Korea has ALWAYS been more developed than North Korea. During the times of the Korean Kingdom (until 1905), South Korea was the place where the capital city and the most industrialized urban center of the country - Seoul - lied, and also the place where commerce with more advanced nations like the colonial powers or Japan brought better equipment and modern technologies. During the times of the Japanese rule (from 1905 to 1945), South

  • @richtxn47: Oh yeah, Uncle Sam comes to explain us how things work (or more precisely to spread his propaganda, but we'll deal with this later...)! So tell me, my friend, where did you get from the wonderful, marvelous and perfect idea of comparing South Korea to North Korea? An idiot like Glenn Beck? That's just like comparing Guatemala to Mexico because they are neighbours and their culture is alike, but without considering the fact that Mexico is far richer in natural resources, has bigger

  • The ghettos in the US for all their degradation have more amenities than the North Koreans, get a grip. Note that none of those who sing the praises of North Korea and its superiority to the West, actually want to live there.

  • Who is a north Korean superman?

  • oppression with capitalist oppression!

  • main issue of NK is the fact that it has a too big army which acts as a parasite of human development as it consumes most of the GDP, (and the militarist dictatorship they have would never agree with disbanding any unit) but not its economical system as capitalist propaganda points out, since capitalist countries with the same GDP have even worse conditions! North Korea needs a revolution, but a revolution which would create a democratic workers' state, not one which would exchange militarist

  • paying better wages and developing housing, health care and other prosperity factors, or reducing the army and liberalizing the economy, but as long as it would allow only the existence of workers cooperatives in which the employees would be the shareholders and prosperity wouldn't be concentrated in the hands of foreign corporations or small elitist groups! Capitalism doesn't work for the people living in poor countries, and might even worsen the situation they have now in North Korea... The

  • (if places where kids are hired and people work 15 hours a day for nothing more than survival could be called "jobs") in third world capitalist countries like the Latin American ones, the African ones or China... The only way a third world county like North Korea could bring prosperity to its people is either maintaining the planned economy but drastically reducing its abnormally big army for a country of 25 million people and using the funds spent to maintain this giant fighting machine for

  • Wake up people! North Korea was no better during the Japanese rule, and it will be no better under any capitalist rule. North Korea is poor because it always was poor and as long as it is exploited by the authoritarian militaristic rule of a party which is associated with communism only by brainwashed idiots who have been indoctrinated with centrist propaganda, it will never prosper. But it would never prosper as well if it had been exploited by the international companies which "create jobs"

  • @Vict0r1984 Sorry, old boy: your'e wrong. S. Korea is capitalist and it has thrived. You have some strange ideas which are easily dashed by reality.

  • @Vict0r1984 then why isn't south korea poor? why aren't south koreans starving? they were under the same japanese rule and then were taken over by more foreign imperialists and are now a free, developed country, whereas north korea is a totalitarian state with extreme poverty and no freedoms.

  • Go live in the paradise you worship - a free economy -, not in the partially socialist hell you have here in Europe, Canada, or the USA...

  • @parsizaban: And capitalists, south America and the middle east are your paradise! The only places in the world where the markets are free from state regulations, and where you can happily work 15 hours a day without an union which would fight the interests of the saint wealth-providing companies and then get paid with 100$ a month (if you are lucky), so that the real money would be used for creating wealth and commodities you enjoy looking at while you starve -like villas and skyscrapers!Enjoy!

  • Those soilders have some nice uniforms. I want one.

  • Some idiots thought I meant Europe as a country. I meant countries in Europe.

  • communists, this is your paradise. Go and live there. Enjoy your life while you're alive. Why live in the imperialist countries such as US or Europe? Live in this paradise of North Korea.

  • @parsizaban

Europe's not a country dumb ass.

  • @parsizaban

europe is not a country and theres not a lot of imperialism there anyway. learn the definition first

  • @parsizaban dumb ass from when Europa is a country

  • @netugeo Fuck off communist. Go to North Korea.

  • @parsizaban Europe is not a country...

  • @zoda70000 Fuck You

  • @parsizaban What for?

  • @zoda70000 for being an smart ass.

  • @parsizaban Rather being a smartass than being a dumbass.

  • @zoda70000 you TRY to be a smart-ass but in fact you're a dumb-ass. everyone knows europe is not a country. look at what I meant rather than the small mistake I made. You communists yourselves have made too may great mistakes with the cost of many lives, decades of oppression and torture and crimes against humanity and still doing it. How come this little mistake of mine grabs YOUR attention?

  • @parsizaban That is what i thought that you would say, kind of predictible . But the intresting thing is following. What do you base it on that i'm a communist? First of all you are wrong, because i'm not. I don't even know how you came up with that, based on my previous comments.

  • @parsizaban

Might I interest you in moving to the proud country of Liberia or Libertarian paradise of Somali, each one pure and unspoiled by the socialist agenda?

  • @parsizaban although it is claimed that north korea is communist, its quite the oposite, they are fascists. European countries mostly have democratic socialists party in charge, making europe far more "communist" than fascist north korea

  • @SmelDiferenToMidget is there a difference between communism and fascism? all countries who have been communist, have also been fascist. Not that I admire capitalism which is nearly as bad. Communism seems to be a good tool for power hungry oppressors and ruthless dictators. they use it to create fascism and rule over majority.

  • @parsizaban all "communist" countries never were truly comunist, democracy is one of the atributes of socialism and communism

  • @SmelDiferenToMidget communists say that the communist countries were never truly communist. I suppose capitalist countries are not truly capitalist either. moslems and christians are not truly moslems or christians. Also all communist countries practiced fascism and totalitarianism. they were are opposite to democratic. If that is not the proof that communism doesn't work and has nothing to do with democracy, I don't know what is.

  • @parsizaban You should read what are the communist principles and compare them to so called "communist" countries, you will see how the principles arent the same.ex:

North korea:there is a cult of personalaty to kin jong il and it is told to the people that he is kinda of a god, he and his family live in a palace while the people starve, there for the most importent principle of a communist society that is equalaty(a marxist/socialist/communist principle) is not present so it isnt commie country

  • @parsizaban On the other hand, capitalist countries do meet capitalist requirements and are truly capitalist. A true communist country would not be truly communist without freedom and elections. Violent moslems meet the true moslems requirements. True christians are by defenition murderers, because only murderers meet the bibles requirements, such as murdering non christians, raping and stealing women tomake theyr own, killing children and many MANY more...

  • @SmelDiferenToMidget If communist is so good, why there was no freedom in any of the communist countries? Why did many die of hunger? why were they ALL fascists? Why were people oppressed SO MUCH? why were they so poor? shouldn't at least one of these countries be true communist and good? all logics point to communism not being what the communists preach it to be. It has been tried too many times for too long and it has always failed.

  • @parsibaboon Thank you for sharing that with us, Parsibaboon.

"If communist [sic] is so good, why there was [sic] no freedom in any of the communist countries?"

    Deep, deep thoughts to ponder.

How lucky for us there was a delay refuelling your private jet and you had a narrow window of opportunity before heading of to your multinational's board meeting in New York to share your profound, considered and above all well "educated" thoughts with the YouTube world.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

  • @parsizaban because they wherent communist. European countries(that have mostly democratic socialist goverments) have many so called "commie stuff" such has, free healthcare, free education(even in public university), principle of equalaty, and most important, they are very peaceful when compared to the usa.

capitalism is in its purest form, corruption. For example: we see the rating agencys saying that greece and portugal are bankrupt, but the us has percentually more dept than both(CORRUPTION)

  • @parsizaban North Korea isn't communist. Only hypocritical Americans and unneducated rednecks think that.

  • @SoRAnubis If north korea is not communist, what is it then?

  • @parsizaban Juche

  • @SoRAnubis North Korea is Songun, not Juche. Juche was abandoned 17 years ago

  • @parsizaban

Implying North Korea is communist, there is no communism before world socialism.

  • Looks better than the shit ghettos in the US.

  • @savemyplaylist anywhere out the capital is hell on earth unless its a fake village.

  • @americanmaoist

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. i see universal poverty, misery, lack of all freedoms, and brutal totalitarianism.

i have embraced capitalism and i live a pretty nice life outside of detroit.

the democracy of israel and the early united states (which u shouldnt even bring up because it was over 200 years ago) are paradise compared to north korea. they provide(d) for a certain number of freedoms, whereas north korea gives none.

  • @Fleishman322 ummm,,,wow comrade...israel? israel is a democracy??? for who?,wow, i almost can't say anything...wow...israel is a democracy? in the same way south africa and nazi germany were maybe..maybe...nazi germany may have been better,, and why do u live 'outside' detroit? A: detroit=the result of capitalism at it's finest.. and i GUARANTEE u would rather live in central Pyongyang than central detroit lol

  • My daughter is currently enrolled at Pyongyang University. When she graduates next year she will become a Traffic Cop and wear a fancy uniform and stand in the middle of the street and direct what little traffic there is. I am very proud of her!

  • Everything looks so worn out!

  • @MrUnidyne hmmm yes unlike in say detroit where everything is brand new..i see ur point..llet's embrace capitalism to the fullest extent so we can all live in a place like detroit

  • one thing missing well several things one freedom two our men (the free world) killing their troops and freeing their people three a picture of Kim jong ils head on a spike and his sons hanging from the gallows that is my perfect Korea because i love democracy

  • @deadpool260 you love democracy? oh you mean like that democracy of israel or somewhere? perhaps that 'democracy' of 1776 america where white men who owned land were allowed to vote...awesome!

  • @americanmaoist no i mean modern democracy where everyone over 18 is aloud to vote not old extremely flawed democracy was in play yes i can understand what you're saying though but are you a an of dictatorship all im saying is to me it's preferable to me than that option

  • @deadpool260 ah, i understand comrade. Thank you so much!

  • @1:17 - Kim il Sung looks like such a douche!!!! Fuck him! The USMC should have sniped his ass along time ago!!!!

  • Long live princess Nancy Pelosi, the new Assistant Dear Great Leader of the DPRK. Will you help us in supporting her in this new role in North Korea. Kim Jong Il will die soon and needs a replacement. Can we count on you? Send your contributions to "Support Princess Nancy for Assistant Dictator Campaign" Thank you. Will you help in electing princess Nancy Pelosi as the new second in command after Kim Jong Un in the DPRK.

  • At least they don't have foreclosures... and no matter what anyone says, they do have free universal health care! And please take into consideration that this country, as well as Cuba have been under sanctions for a very long time.

Media manipulation is another thing because this is the way life often looks like in many of the worlds rural areas Europe,Russia,Asia,SAmerica. The only difference would be the peasants wearing NIKE T-shirts and Baseball hats but they would still be working peasants
