Good luck with the ongoing immigration hassles. I went thru that stuff w/ my girlfriend (now wife), and it was very stressful. So many delays, and it was not at all clear that it would go thru. But it did. She now has her Permanent Resident card, although it was delayed by about 9 months after a letter from immigration was not delivered, even though she lives here. The carrier did not recognize her name, as she hadn't gotten much mail here, and returned it. Sigh. Nine months of lost work.

We did it a little differently, he came over on a regular travel visa and we filed for permanent residency after we got married.
