If a legal citizen can make it to a polling place, a legal citizen can obtain a lawful voter ID.
You need to have your id on you when ever you leave the house. If a cop asks you for id, you have to give it to them. How do you cash checks, buy alcohol or tobacco without id?
What's the point of voting if you don't need to prove who you are?
How can you verify that a vote is proper and only cast once? How do you verify residence, or citizenship? Who doesn't have an ID and a Social Security Number?
I'm a police officer in a downtown area. I deal with the homeless all the time, and EVEN THEY have photo IDs and Social Security Numbers. MOST actually carry it with them. Those who don't are still in the ID database w name and birth date. To oppose ID is PRO-FRAUD
I have a solution. We must rally round the family and get these people id's the Presidential candidates could use their funds and we could volunteer in masses to take people to get ids. We have computers we can go online and order birth certificates etc. I am ready who needs to go? We must start now. We all know it was the repugs they want to keep the White House. We must not allow it. Peace
