  • Good job on releasing that beautiful animal. Thank you!

  • GOOD JOB

  • Is the little squirmy thing at 0:22 one of its youngs?

  • I like the fact that you don't kill the shark, I don't know if that's normal for you guys or not but I liked this one.

  • what's the little fish at :23 ? and that tiger is freakin sweet at the end!!

  • Nice one chris, good to see your still keeping up the sport. We are getting ready for a good season. Doug Mizzi - Australia

  • WHY do people feel the need to catch sharks? I dont get it and it pisses me off. Unless you are a scientist doing boat catch tag and release then leave them alone!!!

Dont drag them to the shore to make you feel like a "man"!

  • Thank you for realiseing :D

  • it looks bigger in the picture

  • That looks so freakin' fun!

  • lol thats like 200 pound test

  • shark's all like, "If i catch you alone, imma eat your ass"

    lol

  • kayaks!!! I guess you can walk it out there but we use kayaks and get it to the 2nd or 3rd gut. Just depends on the conditions and time of day

  • let them all go.

  • thank you for releasing it! cool shark too.

  • haha you scared the baby outta it

  • Great to see people release, nice work.

  • they proly wade out bout titdeep and chunkit then walk back to the beach

  • Thank you for releasing him.

    He's a beautiful shark.

  • I think they use a kyak to paddle out and drop hte bait deep out

  • hell of a nice catch, and smart too he did not put his hand in its mouth :)

  • nice catch

it may of had small teeth but the would cut hell out of ya

  • This is awesome! I have to do it one day.

  • you catch a fish, damage it's mouth and then release it.. brilliant. you're a bunch of morons.

  • catch and release is the only way to fish for beautiful animals like that, big fan, thanks!

  • Do you need to anchor youself to something so you don't go 'water skiing' if you hook a 14' Tiger shark?

  • niice mine was a bit smaller what did you get that one

  • man bull sharks are mean little fucks thay make great whites look like pussys

  • nice, looks exactly like the one on my facebook profile picture. i caught one the same size as that, but on a small bluefish hook and 20 pound test.

  • it looks like blacktip i think i can't really see black tips on dorsal and top fins but i kinda see black tips on tail so i think its black tip shark

  • Wow , nice catch

  • This kind of fishing would be fun, I guess.. I'm just glad that you let the sharks go after they've been caught.

  • more people should use the catch and release method,. good on yah mate

  • Stupid Americans, you are always the usual fanatics and megalomaniacs

  • fishermen bad people

    sharks are my favorite

  • i just came from padre island and was in that water... this is why im always paranoid getting in there lol

  • is the shark in the video died?

  • nicely done but why in the Hell would you release a monster like that?

  • that's a real angler,catch and release.great job...

  • limex2k u can swim the bait out well that's what i do

  • nice! u look tall 2; if tht shark's 5 1, aren't u like 6 3-6 5?

  • what is that thing at 25-26 secs in front of the shark....bait? almost looks like a baby shark

  • ya fair play to ths guy

  • Nice

  • I noticed you use a huge penn rell and short rod, how do you deploy the bait??

  • either a kayak or a jet ski

  • people run them out there on kayaks usually, or you can paddle it out with a surfboard

  • kayak

  • what they do is they get a kayak and paddle out with the bait then drop it

  • limex2k, how we ive done it ,to get the bait out to deeper water, you attach a couple inflated balloons to the rig by some very weak line or cotton and if you have an OFF SHORE breeze/wind itll drag the rig and bait straight out as far as youve got line.. once your baits out far enough (beyond cast distance) you take up the slack, and jerk the rod back snapping the light line attaching the balloons, dropping the bait on the bottom, or leave it as a float.

  • there are guys in australia that swim the bait out on a surfboard and drop it out about 50m sometimes before they reach land there already hooked up.

  • probably kayak thats what we use

  • you generally kayak the bait out...

  • @limex2k run it out on a kayak.

  • @limex2k run the bait out on a kayak and drop it way out there!

  • @limex2k run the bait out on a kayak and drop it way out there!

  • @limex2k

    that's what I was thinking about !!

maybe he through it with hands, or by kayaking maybe !!

  • @limex2k You use a kayak and drop it a few hundred yards out.

  • @limex2k you leave the rod on shore and take the bait out with a kayak

  • @limex2k It's deployed by a kayak, You put the bait on, Put the reel in free spool, and someone in a kayak or canoe takes it out and drops it and you just wait =)

  • @limex2k prob has a kayak which he paddles the bait out.

  • @limex2k When I do shark fishing (mostly for smaller sharks), 6 foot of leader material between a sinker and hunk of cut bait just isn't castable, no matter how long your rod is. The only way to get your bait where you want it is to take it there.

The safest way to do it is with a kayak. I generally fish close enough to shore that I just walk it out and lob it an extra 15-20 feet.

I don't personally recommend walking where you KNOW that sharks are with bait in the water for safety.

  • @limex2k Kayaks

  • good example??? Fuck that i would have kept that beast.

  • lol @ the little fish on the ground at 0:25 nice catch

  • I like the catch and release!

congratulations!!!!!!! You are a nice band!

  • @Accordeonjeremy yah, until that same shark eats a toddler...

  • nice 1

  • hey is it safe to use 80lb. braid for surf fishing?

  • Glad the nippers back in the sea. You showed us the right thing to do. Save the Sharks, spread the words!!!

  • Good example man!!
