I was considering buying this guitar, till I watched this video and saw you play. I don't think I deserve a guitar like this if I can't play like you.
Does a Floyd Rose stay in tune better then a fulcrum or stop tail piece bridge. I had a couple in the past. When I was young and stupid. I seen a video on here that shows you how to change the strings with this type of bridge. I believe I can do it.
I am thinking of getting a Floyd Rose equipped guitar. Mainly because of their ability to stay in tune. Awesome playing. I thought maybe I was hearing some Satriani and Vai influences.
@tbek62 It is standard on this model. Fender should have put it on the maple fret board Blacktop too. It costs far too much to buy a FR then pay a luthier to fit it.
@tbek62 Huh, it's on this video here!!! That's not been put on after, that guitar is purchased with a FR trem. Like I said, it costs a fortune to buy one & have it fitted so it is something of a big deal. I'm not made of money.
Excellent use of that Floyd Rose tremolo, and of course great playing. This is the kind of playing that guitarist get inspiration from to keep playing and learning.
They'r trying to make American versions of the 1980's Japanese Contemporaries now! How did you get this Mex. version? Custom I awesome, right? And great tone man! You rock! Keep shredding. I hope to be as good as you one day when I'm older!
Is it the best Floyd Rose you can get? Of course not, but it works perfectly and you could easily upgrade to a better quality Floyd Rose, but it isn't necessary.
Well what can I say...I love Strats so to me this is much more comfortable to play than a Les Paul. It sounds really thick but is much more versatile than a Les Paul.
It also comes in a version without the Floyd Rose (with more color options and different fingerboards too)
hey man, i have only strats and teles at house i wanted to buy a les paul but then i see this, which looks amazing, should i still buy the les paul or this wound sound as good, i'm looking for a guitar to cover some metal and hardrock and it shouldn't be super heavy, what is the difference between a les paul and this? besides body wood and the floyd rose?
Damn this fucker can play. Cheap guitar...garbage amp sim machine and he's getting excellent fucking tone. Proof that tone is in the hands and fingers..AND heart.
I'm saving this video to show all these retards that constantly barf "i CAN'TZ fIND mY t0NES" and they have $4000 amps and guitars.
Man thats awesome, this guitar has such a huge scale of sounds, think ive fall in love ;)... its only shame that they dont make apple red with FR, or sunburst... great work anyway, keep rockin' !
Hey man sick Vid, I've actually been lookin at this thing b cuz I play 80s 90s and ALL types o metal, and I've always wanted a fender but I've never found one for metal besides the Jim root Tele, and plus that doesn't have a floyd rose, but I was wondering, do u think if I get this and put EMGs in it, it will b able to play heavy metal ?? thanx man
It's definitely not a brass block. There's nothing fancy about the trem so that is probably a good place for a little upgrade. However, it stays in tune like a machine and that is more important to me at this point.
If you're not used to a Floyd Rose then they can be a bit painful. Changing strings is not as easy as a traditional bridge and you can't quickly change your tuning (like drop D). You can definitely play any style on it though, and get lots of different tones.
Dude im thinking to buy this one but i want to know...it can play blues too? And rock because i want play in every stile. What you could recommend to me? with floyd rose or not? Of course im searching blacktop series and I am torn beetween this and the simple without floyd rose.I hope your answer Thanks!
Mostly blues and pentatonic, also some Mixolydian and Dorian modes in this clip.

This guitar sounds great. I am leaning towards a Floyd Rose system for their ability to stay in tune. Blacktops are great sounding guitars.
