  • LOL

"now what you wanna do is point the gun in a safe direction" and as he says this, he points it at the camera person's crotch and pulls the trigger.

  • your really should not take this gun apart it makes it very loose

  • quick and to the point thanks!

  • short and sweet - thanks, for the info... { just bought my 1st one this weekend }

  • nice video, jus that the tv was on while you was talking.

  • man you are the m@n....... thanx

  • Well done ! You make a fine instructor if I may say so. Thank you.

  • really good video man..ive had mine for about 5 years but only shot about 1000 rounds out of it but never learned how to take it apart..it jammed on me cuz it was not clean but got it...nice bruh

  • The hard trigger pull is there in absence of a safety. Either put some rounds through it, suck it up and get used to it, or get something else. It's not even that bad. People who've modded the trigger usually have had reliability issues afterwards. Google that shit.

  • Your video was really easy to follow. I am about to buy my first handgun and I had some concerns about the gun. At the gun shop when the dealer was showing me the gun it rattled a little. He told me that it was just normal noises and that I didnt want the slide to fit too tight so the rattle was ok. Does your gun rattle when you handle it? What should I look for when I go to pick it up?

  • @babyzmckinsey my sigma rattles a little bit but nothing to be worried about. Buddy i have had this gun for a little bit now and it has never jamd up or any problem. Took it out shooting today. It has thousands of rounds thru it and its A-ok. a few buddys also picked a couple of them up in the 40 calibor and the have had nothing but great things to say about it...stay away from the keltecs,i have had 3 of them 2- 9mm 1- .32 cal. both 9mm broke but the .32 is still running strong..jusr my 2 cents

  • cool man,i have a question though,in the states can u just go buy a firearm?

  • @originalredman1212 you can not be a felon and you have to be a u.s. citizen but other wise. pass a back ground heck and you walk out with a gun....God i love the U.S.A

  • @ohbucki53 your wrong... don't need to be a US citizen to purchase Firearms in the USA ...

You only need to reside here legally .

  • go watch hickok this sucks

  • do you know where I can buy parts like addons to this gun?

  • Just bought the gun today very simple and right to the point vid thx alot thumbs up to you

  • Thanks for the quick guide. good job.

  • I just bought one of these at a gun show for $225, I thought it was a steal. Your video was very helpful for me for cleaning the first time. Thanks man, props!

  • Trigger discipline, it can save your life.

  • Thanks. Very helpful. I expect to receive mine in a few days and am looking forward to it. It was on sale for $259 (which is an insane price for a Smith and Wesson) and had to get one.

  • Hey man this video is amazing, but im looking to make the trigger squeeze on SW40VE a little less so if you have any ideas please let me know ok thanks

  • Great video! much appreciated. All things considered... what's up with the "hard pull" trigger on this thing? I hate being at the bottom of my breath and this thing hasn't popped yet. Is there an adjustment on the trigger?

  • what kind of holster is that

  • could you conceal carry this one?

  • 1550 rounds and still going strong. SW9VE continues to perform well. Gave it a good cleaning today. =D

  • Great video and help.

  • one of the best videos yet! Thanks!

  • Nice gun, Nice price, easy field strip, reliable, rugged, and accurate.

  • One of the best videos I've seen to clean my gun...

  • Nice !!

  • This was really helpful, especially after trying to follow the S&W manual. But you need to say "go ahead" less often. I counted 12 'go aheads'.

  • my brothers actually giving me his SW9VE next friday for a early xmas gift and ur vid showed me exaclty what i wanted to know. thank u so much for making it very clear and not rambling on like everyone else does lol.

  • thanks for the breakdown... very useful tool!!!

  • great vid thanks

  • Excellent Video, a bit too much background noise, but otherwise excellent.

  • I love it man...just bought me 1 today!!!

  • thanks for te video, my old man has one and he's been asking me constantly how to get the slide off. now i get to teach him something

  • cool very informative and educational

  • Great Video! I purchased the same gun last year. Took it out to a range for the first time last week. This video is very helpful for breaking down and cleaning my gun. Thanks a lot!

  • Great video really easy to to understand!! How do you like the gun I was told it has a heavy trigger pull does it affect accuracy?

  • @guestservicesrod I agree. Trigger pull is a little heavy. However, I'm getting used to it. I'm told you can modify your trigger to lighten it up a little. I'm going to look into it. Any thoughts?

  • Thanks! first time taking ANY gun apart, this was a lot easier being able to watch than just reading words in a manual. I was able to get it apart and back together with ease.

  • @cobra5099 I totally agree. Seeing it is so much better than reading it. Not a problem. I feel like a pro now. LOL Well, with my S/W Sigma anyway.

  • It was a good and clear presentation.

  • It was a good and clear presentation forn your point.

  • Nice vid bro

  • i love my SW 40 sigma! Good people stopper lol!

  • Great video instruction, I am actually looking to purchase this same pistol. The salesperson at our local gunshop tried to steer me away from the S&W and to the Glock 19 . I assume he works on commission and wants the higher sale. Have you had any feed or reliability issues with yours ? Just wondering before I take the plunge. Thanks again and hope to see more of your videos.

  • thank man, videos like this help us all out. nice work

  • Umm, im not too sure about where the camera man is standing, but you point it at him/her severl times during the video, including when you say "point it in a safe direction and pull the trigger"

  • gimmie a smith & wesson i'll have niguhs undressing ahah, cool video dude

  • LOL "point the gun in a safe direction and pull the trigger" at the camera man seems safe enough!!!!

  • wish i had seen this video b4 i figured it out on my own would have saved me about 20 mins.

  • My fingers are sore and I still can't do it:(

  • very good video. so easy to understand

  • good gun but mine just stopped fairing for an unknown reason... If any one has any info let me know

  • lol OHIO thanks it helped me get mine cleaned LOL

  • Glock tried to file suit against SW for making it so close to the Glock

a glock slide will fit on the SW

  • like i say it looks super clean, but is their any way to tell how many rounds have been threw it? it has no nicks anywhere on the gun, light mar where the shell extracts, there on top, i was around guns young but that's been a minute or two. getting one for protection/light recreational to get used to the aim that's about it. it sounds like what i'm looking for and it's at a good price, so any help would be appreciated, thanks

  • if it's just an entire gun like i've read, than how can you expect perfection with it? it says on S&W site that it's a personal protection hand guy. if your shooting at a 30- 40 yard target... isn't that more like hunting game than popping a car jacker?? i'm thinking of getting a used one, and it looks super clean. the orig. owner wanted something easy to pull cause of his hands, he was an older guy.

  • great vid but the barrel looks i little fuked up as in it is angled up slightly i dont know alot about the sw9ve so it might suposed to be like dat. : ] i dunno

  • thanks very helpful man!!

  • dude thank you so much I feel like an idiot forgetting how to take my sw9ve apart i had put it away for a while so i didnt shoot it or service it for some time. i needed a reminder and your vid was the first one i came across.

  • love how you dry fired that thing at your camera man

  • vidi ga ovaj sto je ucio u vojsci,i pobegao odma jer su ga jebali a keva mu se cuje u pozadini tera ga da pece gibanicu bratu za dorucak hahah kakvi kreteni ovi amerikanci...

  • i got a sw9ve on lay away right now picking it up next week my frist pistol thanks for the info

  • I'm planning on getting this gun in a couple weeks... thanks for the video...

  • Nice gun. Have sw40ve. Use it for my ccw. After law change over the weekend for ccw. Do open carry. Til apply for a new ccw in state.

  • dont use a wire brush in your pistol barrel that will totaly fuck up the twist in the barrel

  • thats a shit hot pistol for the price. I've got one in a 40sw, thanks for the vid.

  • i just got a sigma i love it

  • that was perfect no beating around the bush just what i was looking for thanks

  • thx alot for the vid.I have a sigma 9mm exactly like yours and actually forgot how to disassemble it after 3 yrs of non use.

  • I thought that this video was great, this is my frist pistol too. I should have my ccw permit in abou 6 weeks, thanks for all of your help. I do think that some of you should grow up and leave your hands off of guns. I do like my gun it is simple and easy to take apart thanks too you. Did you get your permit yet? I can wait to get mine soon, thanks for your help with my gun!!!

  • @annabell0409 yeah i have had it sez september and carry daily. The smith isnt my primary carry gun now. after weeks of lugging it around i knew i needed somthing smaller if i was going to carry all the time. so i looked at the kel-tec .32 and also love it. can carry it without knowing its even there.

  • @ohbucki53 Sweet vid!!!

I Have this S&W, its soo light i forget i have it on me sometimes, lol... Fires with ease and will fire every round without jamming! Best gun ive ever owned compared to the Giant Hi-Point i started off with, lol

  • Thanks man.

  • presh dude

  • LOL!

    0:45 ish,

"point in the gun in a safe direction and pull the trigger"

Gun is pointed in general direction at cameraman LOL!

  • hahahah i was jus bout 2 post a comment sayin that

  • wow thanks man! i tried to read the book, but it didn't make any sense to me; watching a video makes ample more sense! :D

  • @Azerial yeah me 2! thats why i made it thanks

  • is the take down the exact same for the sigma 40? btw thanks for what your doing it helps alot

  • @randy296720 yes take down of the 40 is the same thanks for the comment

  • hey what kinda holster do you have in this video?

  • Yes,

    Exactly the same dude.

  • Hey Man Thanks I just bought One on the 25th of Oct. Kool Thanks

  • i heard about that , that's pretty kool , there's a turner's store close to my house that has a sale for all glocks , there like 530.00 or so but yea thnx for the info bro .

  • nice vid dude was thinking of gettin this gun for a 9mm . i have a glock in 40 cal but was lookin for something like it in 9mm and cheaper , thnx for clearin that up for me .

  • yeah man you cant go wrong for the money. Smith and Wesson have a sale running on these pistols right now. buy one for $309 and either get a $50 mail in rebate or 2 free s&w magazines. good deal

  • Ya, I dont like its trigger's 8lb pull. Its the only safety on the gun though

  • Dude,

The stock trigger pull is 12 pounds. I was able to get mine down by having the trigger face polished, the action and sear polished, etc. That dropped it down to seven pounds but the reset was still long. I wound up selling the piece to by an xd and I am glad I did now.

  • It was a 40 cal. It was my first gun. It served me well. I sold it and graduated to an xd 40 which has the combat trigger job with over travel adjustment. She pulls in at 4 pounds 11.4 ounces on the lyman digital gauge. There is very little reset on it. It is much more accurate than the sigma ever was.

  • Actually the trigger pull varies. Its usually between 9 and 13 pounds. I got mine down to about 6 by taking out some unneeded springs and polishing the trigger assembly.

  • will Glock barrels fit the sw9ve?

  • good question...not sure

  • good job !

  • i have the same gun do you know if i can put +p ammo in it

  • no you cant

  • Love my SW9VE. Haven't had a problem with it. Easy tear down, good accuracy, no stovepipes.

  • i have this same gun...in fact, i sell them, i work at academy and bought it from ther, i love it, 0 jams

  • Good grief, how come so many flamers attack this guy's videos?

  • who knows and who cares man, its youtube there will always be un-employed people with way to much time on there hands, i didnt make these videos for people like them, i made them for people lke yourself. Thanks for the comments.

  • my dad got a 9ve and i admit i was pleasantly surprised. the only issues we had with it was light primer strikes with sellier and bellot ammo - they are known to have hard primers. my glocks, though, fired every s&b cartridge. other than that, the 9ve works as advertised. but the light primer strikes-i suppose no worries with usa made ammo.

  • i'v never seen that type of ammo b4, thanks for the heads up. i only use winchester reminton or federal ammo most of the time if i can find a good price on it.

  • I played with M-16's, M-60 machine guns and hand grenades in Desert Storm/Shield when you were still suckin on a bottle ohbucki53.

  • anyone can pull the trigger but if its a heavy pull it will throw off your aim...grow up dude

  • Damn! ohbucki53 when I made that initial comment I wasn't talking about you Bro. I guess I struck a nerve.

  • Blah Blah Blah , Go do some exercises for your weak ass feminine fingers. I know 120 pound women who don't cry about how hard the trigger pull is on this gun.

  • on some real shit- the trigger pull is heavy-causes alot of people to shoot low/right--although good shooting tecniques can correct alot of the problem i went with a 4lb glock trigger which fits perfect and shoots like a dream--

  • Really?

Cuz Mr novak that perfected the trigger jobs on these guns and could get em down to about 5-7 with polishing etc said glock triggers wont fit. Since he is the authority on these types of weapons I would say you didnt put a glock trigger in yours. Besides that glock dont make a 4 pound trigger, they make a 3.5 trigger and a trigger you can get down to about 2 pounds but nothing in the four range. You lied dude and got caught.

  • man what the fuck ever --Fuck Novak--obviously he didnt perfect the trigger if your shit aint shooting @ four pounds--my gunsmith--A.K.A Mr Wizard machines his own parts--SK's to Ak's in a day(just dont get caught wit dem shits) i know he took six coils out of the replacment springs for a glock and used them in my smiff--so you and Mr Novak can go to Hell- Cuz

  • Man some of you guys must have some weak ass fingers to be constantly crying about a hard trigger pull. What a bunch of Pussies!

  • wow dude, now we all know you don't know very much about guns... Go play with your squirt guns

  • Your mom

  • @sean2070

i just check one out and thought the same thing about the trigger being hard to pull. it seemed fine to me, it wasn't shit really, but i a man though so you know...

  • when you take it apart to clean it, do you need to put any kind of oil on or in it to keep it lubricated?

  • !LIGHTLY! OIL do NOT over oil or you will have problems. the oil will become gummy and your gun could fail. Clean it with gun cleaner and LIGHT oil just make sure there isnt much on there

  • Duh? Of course you do.

  • i love guns

and i love shooting them at people

  • Your the reason people like me own guns....

  • that was one of the best to the point simple clear takedown vids thank bro

  • No problem man glad I could help

  • i hear this gun sucks is it because of the trigger pull but will it take a robber down if they are tring to rob me

  • read all the comments below...this gun is FAR from sucking. . .

  • Duh,

Any gun can take down someone even a little ass 22 its all about shot placement.

  • good man...just brought home my sw9ve. gonna go put my first hundred rounds through it now!

  • let me know how it does man. i took mine out today and put 100 more rounds throu it. thats over 2100+ rounds thru it by now with absolutly NO problems. I was hitting clay pigenz 35 yards no problem, you just have to learn to stage that trigger. keep me updated

  • My dad just got one of these! he's picking it up tomorrow, we're taking it and my G19 to the range after he picks it up from the gunshop.

  • great man, good choice, when you take it to shoot dont forget that the trigger pulll is kinda long so stage the trigger as much as you can for maximum accuracy. Let me know how it does for you

  • S&W SW9VE have improved it's reliability. Glocks are good, but I'm used to wheelguns so the SW9VE DAO trigger is okay with me. The price is good. I've watched a couple of shooters with a

SW9VE, no FTF,no FTEs. I think we should give SW9VE another try and forget the stigma of it's earlier models.

  • I agree! I have shot 2,000!+ rounds thru this firearm now and NOT 1 FTF ! or any problem! I give S&W 5 STARS for making a gun so good for such a great price.

  • Nice informative video. Thanks for putting forth the effort.

  • Thanks man, more to come

  • Very informative video. You should rename it though. Take down AND Reassembly of the Smith and Wesson SW9VE 9MM. Just a tip. Thanks for the help!

  • Hey man thanks for the tip. i changed it

  • Comment removed

  • I dont think its a good idea to dry fire it alot but just for cleaning reasons its not going to hurt it.

  • incorrect,

you can dry fire it all you want just use snap caps.

  • beautiful weapon

  • i strongly agree

  • Wow thanks dude my fingers hurt trying to figure it out and it was so easy all along.

  • thanks bro, thats why i made the video to help ppl out

  • thanks man.

  • where did you get the holster? Is it universal?

  • I picked it up at fin-feather-fur in Ashland Ohio, it was $12, its a blackhawlk. Ya its universal in the pants holster. I really like what its made out of. It grips your clothing well and doesnt slop around.

  • honestly if i had the money i would go with the SR9 even tho i love my Sigma 9mm. either way you wont go wrong with your choice. keep posted let us know what you pick man

  • Comment removed

  • Id go with the taurus 24/7 pro it is a much better gun than the sigma. The trigger is much better also.

  • I just saw a video posted today of the same gun being field stripped...can't remember who did the video though lol =P.

    gotta Love the SIGMA =)
