The E46 M3 will smoke your sorry G37. Oh and if you were the engineering nerd you claim you are, then you'd know that the inline 6 layout is preferred over the V6 layout as it offers a natural balance and doesn't require any balance shafts. Obviously if they put the TT in the 3 series for POWER then they would offer it with MORE POWER since we ALL know those turbos are WELL capable of making OVER 400WHP. In this case they made a TT to fit a certain CLASS of cars to compete with. Like the G37. Who, in the end, FAILED.

they made this car to close the gap between 330i and m3, cause ever 335i has at least 330hp, not for better fuel efficiency! BTW the 335i uses Mitsubishi turbos!

Once they get to the single turbos I think they will be more reliable tho, I'm not hatin, I'm just sayin.

i would take the G37. imo it looks better and has a better interior than the bimmer. and with a little money put in it can be just as fast as the BMW. oh and if u want to put in about 7k on a twin turbo then u will smoke the bmw. oh and remember that the G37 is cheaper than the BMW!
