We chose a small issue we cared about, namely the preservation of the National Mall and a degree of respect shown to it by out of towners. We assume you would want us to focus our energy on something like "world hunger," or "immunization" or "homelessness." If people bring their own bags to inauguration, they'll be able to pack their trash with them when they leave instead of forcing into cans that will inevitably already be spilling over.
