@TheChristian9494 The best Core i3 currently is the 550, but it cost almost as much as a Core i5 so you might as well buy a Core i5 which is faster and better

i just ordered the i3 530 for a frend.

it didnt say boxed on the order

i guess they didnt like the fan cooler either .

but anyways my friend wanted something better ,so i got him a corsair h50 watercooler.

im kinda curious myself how this thing is gonna do.

he wanted abudget pc around 600 bucks

i got him a pretty nice hd5670 videocard.

so i think it will be pretty good in benchmarks

Yes it is! The Core i3 is codenamed Clarkdale so it is 32 nm, Lynnfield Core i5 i7 and Bloomfield i7 are not 32 nm, instead they are 45 nm.

Clarkdale = Dual Core 32 nm LGA1156

Lynnfield = Quad Core 45 nm LGA1156

Bloomfield = Quad Core 45 nm LGA 1366

Gulftown = Hexa Core 32 nm LGA 1366

Don't you mean single core to dual core? You can upgrade but that might void the Dell warranty, as well as your motherboard may not support new CPUs unless you have the latest BIOS update. Also, this CPU is LGA1156, your single core is probably LGA775, so it won't fit so you can only upgrade to a Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad if your motherboard can support it. Much better and easier to just buy a new computer instead
