BARACK OBAMA is a well-marketed DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST PEDDLING a PATHETIC and FAILED IDEOLOGY under the guise of HOPE and CHANGE, just like FIDEL CASTRO circa 1959.
Wow 8 seconds of an interview. I wonder what else he said, or would that be allowing us to see the actual context? Are you planning on posting his comments refering to Obama or would that be too liberal/ethical?
McCain has co-sponsored Bills with Feingold and Ted Kennedy - Bills that his party was against. He also is in favor of dealing with global warming. He was the only candidate in the primary debate to be against torture. He has a record of working across party lines.
We need to come together we are country design by compromise because our Founding Fathers understood we are people of regional differences and different ways of life. If you vote far left, you are alienating those who believe far right and vice versa. Nothing will get done and America will not improve if we do not compromise come together. We can't be stuborn children, mine mine! We need to share this country. Staunch Conservatives and Bleeding Heart Liberals need to stop actin like children
John McCain sold a longtime friend down the river to save his political career, and avoid a minimum 4 year prison term from a national scandal that he was undoubtedly a part of. How can anyone of you be certain that in a moment of National Crisis that he won't do the same to the United States of America? If he can turn on a long time friend like that to save his own skin, whats to stop him from doing it to someone he doesn't even know? like you. Think about that when you vote...
I believe you are refering to the Keating scandal, which the Senate Ethics committee acquitted found that John McCain's involvement was that he met with 4 other senators who were involved in the actual scandal.
But you see, it is these very same shameless chicagoesque divisive political attacks which need to be changed. Senator Obama is an agent for "Change We don't Need". He has and will continue to be a proponent of divisive politics and business as usual in Washington, with a Chicago twist.
Divisive political attacks?lol you mean to tell me that Republicans can dish it out but can't take it? And yes I am talking about Keating. Why is this subject important? You don't use political muscle to influence the outcome of an investigative body, Not only is McCain guilty of that but Palin is also guilty of that. How do you refuse a Subpoena and not face consequences? if you or me refuse a subpoena, we are doing jail time, tell me I'm wrong.
I didn't ask why it was important, you did. the only thing John McCain was guilty of was meeting with four other senators. It was poor judgment on McCain's part for meeting with them, but he learned his lesson. At that time, John McCain was around the same age as Barack Obama - a young, up and coming Senator, with the exception that then-senator McCain had called Hanoi Hilton his home for 5 years.
What about Senator Obama's relationship with Rezko, Wright, AKORN, and a host list of other felons?
poor judgment on McCains side led to one of the biggest scandals in U.S. History, that misjudgment cost taxpayers more than 120 billion dollars and over 20,000 Americans savings were wiped out. McCain helped a dirty Business man commit fraud and taxpayers paid for it. How can you defend that action by McCain?
Lol Jonanater you make an excellent point. It took Obama less than half the time to get to this point as a Presidential nominee than it took McCain. That's saying a lot. Although, I know what you really meant by that, I can tell you Obama didn't get this far by mistake. He is one very educated and very smart individual. Even if not elected, for him to get this far is absolutely amazing. You all have to admit that even if you don't like him.
hardly an endorsement? "I think [John Mccain] does [have the temperament to be president of the united states], and frankly, I think he would be a good president"
McBush is using the same slime balls Rove team that smeared his own daughter to run his campaign. What a piece of human filth. They smeared your own daughter and you use them to run your campaign ??? You deserve to lose on that basis alone Mr McBush
Hey, I am just glad that we can hear some more rational positions from the opposition.
It is hard for people to get the truth about Obama or McCain without having it rammed down their throats by a severly biased web-user, or journalist for that matter.
We all have to understand that MCCain is not Bush, Obama is not Communist.
We have to elect the best President. I voted for Obama in the Ohio Primary, I wanted to choose between two candidates. Let the bias go, give McCain serious consideration.

Russ Feingold is a great guy. Thank you for doing the right thing. Feingold deserves a spot in the McCain-Palin Administration's Cabinet. A Few Democrats in a Cabinet for a Republican Administration is a great idea. Keeps things balanced and gets things done. Which is why John McCain is a perfect president.
MCCAIN-PALIN 2008!!! with Rudy Giuliani as Secretary of State
If you're for McCain/Palin, okay... but you can't possibly be serious about Rudy Guiliani as Secretary of State! I'm not sure I can think of anyone worse for that position. A Secretary of State needs the best possible people-skills and diplomatic knowledge in order to be effective. Giuliani has neither.
But you're right about Feingold... He may be the best Senator we have.
Giuliani is a good man and has done a lot for New York City, with a balance of interests from Democrats and Republican this administration will have phenomenal potential. McCain-Palin-Giuliani-Feingold-Liebermann-Mike Gravel and some other Democrats and Republicans would make a hell of an administration, and shit would actually get done and the country will thrive!
I do respect your opinion, but Feingold is the only one you mentioned that I could ever vote for. I thought Liebermann was a spineless Democrat even before he essentially became a Republican.
Chris Rock said it best about Guiliani. [paraphrased] Giuliani is like a pitbull... Good to have around if someone's breaking into your house, but he may also eat your children.
I won't get started on Palin, sufficed to say I would rather pour bleach in my eyes than see her become Vice-President.
To make things work and get things did, an administration should be mixed up. Throw some dems and reps in there. They need to find a way to get along, lol, so to speak. We are a country founded on compromise, we need to find a common understanding between around difference. Somethings will need to be sacrificed, but it's better than having your views totally scarificed or my views totally sacrificed. I suspect you are going to feel fucked if McCain wins, just as I will if Obama wins.
I generally agree. There is ABSOLUTELY too much partisanship in modern government. I very much hope an Obama presidency will be one of unity and reasonable compromise. You never know how that's gonna work out until the candidate is actually in office. So many people thought that W was going to be a moderate who reached out to the other party. Like him or loathe him you must admit that he turned out to be 99% far-right-wing Republican.
Bush (the son) is a disgrace to the Republican Party and his father (who was a great president I might add). He failed to manage the economy and get out of the Iraq Civil War. We achieved victory and got the job done, we should have left I raq before 2005. This fool did nothing help Iraq end their own Civil War and live. It's amazing that he has had the highest and lowest approval ratings in history. 92% after Sept 11 (his father was highest at 89%) and then 19% beats Nixon and Truman
GOP fight song: We'll meet again Don't know where Don't know when But I know we'll meet again some sunny day Keep smilin' through Just like you always do Till the blue skies drive the dark clouds far away So will you please say hello To the folks that I know Tell them I won't be long They'll be happy to know That as you saw me go I was singing this song We'll meet again... But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
Even though I disagree with him on a lot of issues I have enormous respect for Feingold because he's not a partisan hack (like Pelosi, Reid and Dean). He's authentic and doesn't just spout the party line for political purposes.
Yo. Im from Wisconsin, home to split ticket voters. People like my parents have voted for Feingold for years but then also vote for Bush during the same election.

Why should wealthy people pay for public schools, healthcare, etc?!?! We don't even use these services!! The Middle class and poor people are the ones that use these public services!
