That would be the whole point of taking medicine to stop. i have been on champix for around 9 days, I stopped smoking on day 2 and havn't had one since. This stiff really works, the side effects are pretty ordinary, but i'd definatley rather feel nausea for a hour a day than have my life run by nicotine. Life is totally different now.
Champix is made by pfizer and it does really work. You also have to want to give up yourself as the drug by itself wont work.
If you have made a decision to give up then taking this medication will help you.

Your freewill probably isn't affected by this drug. It just makes you not want cigarettes (possibly). You can still smoke, but you might not have the urge to.

I've been chewing nicorette. That seems to work pretty good, although my cat tried to rip my face off once when I breathed on him while chewing it. (Comparing this shit to catnip is like comparing crack to pot.)
How is the Champix going? Any cravings?

Me and my wife quit smoking now since 11 November 2007 with the use of champix.
We used it for 3 months.
