@Growths I think horror films suck, I've seen many and they don't scare me. Cabin Fever however, scared the shit out of me. As far as horror films go, this was brilliant. Like the disease in the movie, things deteriorate, the sense of security, the trust of strangers, and the bonds between friends are destroyed. The fact that they all turn on each other and are facing homicidal rural people make it brilliant. This wasn't an Americanization of some Japanese horror film with a pretty young thing.

Oh, and if the only part that didn't make sense was when the guy fell into the river, can you explain the Listerine, the Rabbit, or the Pancake-Striving Child? I don't think Cabin Fever is equivalent to a hallucinogen. Even if the body fell into the water, they should have drank their own bottled water. I mean, they are going to a cabin. The fact the movie doesn't explain these is why I don't like it. You're assuming these situations: "was probably" or "or maybe". Even so, I highly doubt anyone would dump Listerine on their dick, not bring a phone hundreds of miles away from home on a cabin trip, etc. I also don't see how putting Listerine on your crotch is going to horde off depressed girls that shave off their skin for no reason. But, that's just me. If you enjoy the horror genre, I suggest 28 Days Later, The Mist, and 1408.

You're still assuming what they're doing and why they're doing it. Even so, does it matter? No, because this movie makes no sense. If they can afford a car, a rifle, and a reservation to a cabin, rationally, they could afford a cell phone. They also remembered the Game boy. Even if the chick shaved or not, it doesn't change that she got infected in the first place. I know you're not Jesus, but frankly, I think he'd stay the hell away from this movie.
