  • Awesome. I saw what looked like shooting stars...

  • hey gradientlok, what interval did you use?? I mean, every how many seconds did you take a picture??

  • Amazing! but whats the song?

  • beautiful video

  • This had to be fate that guy is there to take those videos. They are really good.

  • its crazy, these are the heavens we read about in ancient bookks that some of us will never see with our own eyes.......................................... cuz of pollution.

  • And I'd like to go there, my initials are GEM. ^^

  • :O WOW :D

  • Would we see a worse scene if we lived in the center of the galaxy rather than the outskirts? Anyways I know I'd see a better one if I wasn't living in a city. Very beautiful video I love this shot!! :D

  • @MIDNAq1LINK

I thinkk it would lookk the same no matter where u are in the milky way cuz of all the space between everything............... yea, space is supposed to be overly big.

  • Amazing. Can you really see this with the naked eye or did your camera just pick it up?

  • what are those lights lying by?

  • @AliRajput40

    Airplane pass by...

  • Thanks a lot for sharing. Really beautiful footage. Greetings from Athens, Greece

  • but idont see this kind of scene in my eyes.

  • @loopz321

because you living in a city full of light pollution... try go to a low light pollution place during summer, because this is summer milkyway, only can be seen during summer.

  • @gradientlok that figures. :) tnx

  • I really dont get how stupid videos on youtube get millions of views when videos like this or "The Mountain" are seriously just pure amazement. It gives us a sense of something much bigger than us and how we are only a tiny place compared with everything else in the universe. good job

  • @Bobofosho1213

Thanks for the support very much...

  • @Bobofosho1213 Completely agree.

  • Wait wait wait . Why does all these milkyway timelapses look like photoshopped or something . Is it really possible ?

  • @12knight12

ya, it's real, u only will believe it if u see it by ur naked eyes, try once...

  • @12knight12 you just need to be away from city lights and just need to know what to look for. have you ever look up at the night sky in the country in the summer and happen to notice a cloudy area when there isnt suppose to be clouds. 9 out of 10 it may be the galaxy your seeing. the camera the person used here i designed to take pictures in such low light. theres a setting on the camera that opens the shutter for such amount of time to gather as much light needed. even stars so dim are shown.

  • @bradmann85 also digital cameras are able to see light that we cant see. take a tv remote and point it to a video camera or digital camera turned on and push any button on the remote and youll see a light from the remote on the camera screen.

  • Nicely done.

  • Any chance I can have the name of the song?

  • So its about 1 picture each 16 seconds, what was the exposure ? thanks

  • @swordhifi

    it's 15sec per frame, F2.8.

  • woooow so beautiful,.. where can i see the milky way? at the Philippines also seen that milky way ?

  • @SpoTzLiGht yep, i made a timelapse in bohol and you can see the milkyway very clear.

  • how can you see this do you have to go out sum where there is no light like the woodlands.Coz i so wont ot see this with my onw eye's

  • @snotty1988

yes, you have to go to a place without light pollution, this is summer milkyway, so you only can see it during summer.

  • its so beautiful

  • @Kheopsyco

    thank you very much!

  • Beautiful, thank you so much!

  • Where is the Gem Island.. I didn't knwo that we can spot on Milky Way in Malaysia.. can we see Milky Way in Penang as well?

  • @gagahunk

  • Were those streaks of lights down the left-hand corner aeroplanes or meteors?:o Cause there was one that did a 180 degree turn and it was cool and freaky and confused me:)

  • @MJAstronomyRocks1

tat's aeroplanes, cos fast forward the scene, so look like meteor

  • @gradientlok Ohh! Lol, how silly of me!-__- Thanks for the clarification!

  • @MJAstronomyRocks1
