I watched this video nearly two years ago and then I finally got to see the actual episode for the first time tonight...and then I had to watch this again, it had made an impression. So thank-you, it is beautiful. It was a perfect choice in song as well, poignant and slighty painful in an *it hurts to listen to its so sad* way.

I caught the end of this episode last night very late and thought it was very moving, but couldn't work out what was going on! I don't watch Torchwood, so I presume the JB character is gay? Wasn't this shown on BBC 1 at prime time? I'm surprised they let it be shown with the kiss scene. So, is the American army guy meant to be in love with JB's character? Wish I had scene it from the beginning.

Right... Jack (JB's character) loves anyone and anything. He's not just gay. They did say in Doctor Who confidential that he doesn't realize that it's a bit weird to love aliens, where as Rose and The Doctor are sort of... limited to there choice in love. Jack nicked the ameircan guys identity and so the american guy dies in battle. Jack didn't realize this until they met, and the american guy and Jack love each other but Jack hasn't told the american guy about when he's going to die or why
