I'm surprised this kind of content ended up in DDR, given that that's a game that will often be played in a venue where this kind of thing wouldn't be politically correct to be have playing in front of kids.

As far as the video itself, Heather's lip-sync is all over the place. In the scenes on the stark white space, it looks awesome. But in areas where she's in-game, they probably recycled the assets, so it looks weird, especially at the end during the guitar solo.

I like Silent Hill more then Resident Evil for many reasons. 1 reason is I believed no game could scare me until I played Silent Hill 1, Resident Evil doesn't scare me at all it only has cheap scares. What Resident Evil doesn't have is a soundtrack that captures the moment and gets you scared like Silent Hill does. Music is a powerful thing and Silent Hill proved that :)

It's strange, Heather is designed to be imperfect and have her flaws, yet she is one of the most attractive game characters I've ever seen. I think the character designer (sorry cant remember his name) was right when he said "When you are attracted to a woman, she isn't perfect, you are attracted to her because she has character, if she were perfect, you wouldn't be attracted to her." Yes I'm aware she isn't real, I just think it's fascinating how true his words are.

The evil delussions of Alessa from the first game came from the powerful spiritual energy that resides in the town when it was settled by an unknown Native American Tribe, who used it for sacred holy rituals (Good ones too). Then, a century later the cult came and used Alessa for the birth of god.. In the movie, the evil power came from the Devil giving her vengeance.>

Gaming allows it's creators and players to live out fantasies - which is awesome, but the more you add that the audience can relate too (realism), the more it will stand out in their minds, because it makes you feel more like YOU are in the game.

For example, can you imagine if the next Silent Hill game had a "dorky" main character? a guy who wears glasses, plays videogames and doesn't look like Hercules, with a license to kill? That would be AWESOME, because that frankly sums up most of us.

To everyone responding to me, I only meant that Heather wasn't intentionally super-beautiful with glossy skin, exotic-beauty and twin rockets; she's more like a normal girl, and that's what makes her more appealing and beautiful, not just as a character, but physically as well. Ordinary looking girls are more easy to feel connected too and thus, in my opinion, feel attracted too.
