Nice!.If you`re in the area for a while i can recommend a top gig to go to..the real people,17th dec in mountford hall...outstanding liverpool band. I hope the 5k route is well gritted for tomoz...the sight of santas falling arse over tit on the icy pavements might mentally scar the younger spectators!! ;-p

Thanks...about the name...(btw, it's variation of my real name). I've been to the Belly Up on several occasions, but will admit it has been a while. I used to go to listen to the live bands and the reggae. I travel Coast Highway quite a bit, since I live in Oceanside and work in the Mira Mesa area, and will take it if the freeway is backed up. I love the 80's tunes and of course Echo is on my iPod. I listen to Jack and a variety of stations. Where do you visit from?
Looks like northbound Coast Highway between Solana Beach, Cardiff By the Sea and Encinitas. I live up the road in Oceanside so I recognize the route. Nonetheless I love Echo but the sound quality on this isn't too good.
Hey gmweirdo (love the name by the way), you are of course exactly correct about the location. We visit annually. We are in love with Solana Beach, Cardiff by the Sea, Encinitas, Leucadia et al and we also extremely love Echo. We generally listen to Jack FM in SD and this happened to come on the radio one afternoon in the middle of one of our mooches and it tied together. We're back next year (of course) so keep in touch - do you ever go to the Belly Up?
