@Bahuns As long as he introduces the non standard stuff at a reasonable rate should be good. I love non standard fantasy worlds but sometimes the authors just kind of expect you to know stuff or remember some abstract thing from page 54 when you have never heard of it before or since.. I cannot stand another Tolkien world right now so I think I will give it a look.

@Tapey01 > The Mist Born series of Books by Brandon is also excellent. All 3 books are finished and you will not have to wait for another 9 books. (I do love the way the story of the way of kings is crafted. )

@Tapey01 It is amazing, You find a new toye of world with culture and the magic system, but by the end you really grow attached to the characters.
