why cant we see the record attempt show ?, something to hide? I'm sure there wouldn't be anything embarassing about it, come on Biff, lets see it again, don't be shy.
secretWeapon625 , the harvey goldsmith show is available in the usa but i don't know what tv station has taken it, the sheffield concert was excellent, and the new tour for the inner sanctum is amazing,i hope they get to play a lot of shows in the usa.
Thanks, Birds! We could use another tour by them here. Haven't seen them here since "Killing Ground" came out. And the first time I saw them was at the Station in West Warwick, Rhode Island (since destroyed in a fire during a Great White show). I NEVER thought they would come near my tiny little home state, but they did, and we got in for a paltry $11 apiece (that's not even six UK Pounds these days!). One of the best shows I have ever seen!
Does anyone know if the "documentary" with Harvey Goldsmith can be viewed anywhere online? I'm a fan in the US and I'm curious to see it- Fat chance of it appearing on TV here!
after last nights show thats it for these guys they were crap in the 80's but now... Even when they supported Motorhead in the great days of rock, after their set Lemmy shouted "now for the good stuff after all that shit" lol
i like the fact they refuse to change. Biff comes across as a decent guy and a good laugh. They can play instruments which puts them ahead of 80% of today's commercialised acts desparate for fame with little talent and a battalion of pr hangers-on behind them.
i think it's fair enough to be a fan of heavy metal or rock and roll but come on these guys are shit - they're way past it - no stand out songs or anything characterful that leaps out at all, i think if they looked within they'd have to admit they've lost the spark - if they had one in the first place???
I'm really rather worried about this upcoming TV documentary, knowing the British press their probably going make Saxon look like idiots and be dismissive of metal in general.
No- just watched it- Saxon came across fine- nice blokes. But their manager came across as a total moron who can't talk to anyone to network... They obviously have a huge fanbase still, so I can obviously conclude their manager has been doing bugger all for his 20%. I hope the band take note and get someone decent to represent them.
I reckon that if they actually played their song live on a little stage or even just on the pitch it would have been a lot better cos they couldve just carried on instead of having to give up and look like nobs. it was a bad idea though.
these lads are yorkshire men...yorkshire...

They are awesome, better than most new bands or act, they have plenty of talent, it's what metal is all about.

yeah, hopefully its raised their profile a bit, admittedly the football air guitar thing was very cringe worthy.

It was on tonight, they didn't need the press to make them look like idiots, they managed that all by themselves. LOL
spandex was never a good look.

no they came across fine (for the most part), i think the programme showed what a good live band they are.
